Fun and peaceful visit to Pond on the Plains

The house fit exactly what our group of 14 (4 families) needed for a quick weekend get together. Jenny was a gracious host.

Cute farmhouse

We had a great trip to Auburn. It’s a very close drive to campus for game day, and you can hit up Publix on the way in. We would definitely recommend and stay again!

It is a beautiful and warm place to stay. It's definitely a home away from home.

We enjoyed our stay. From the warm meet and greet from the host. We loved the home cooked bread, the quiet neighborhood, and the firetruck ride. We will book again.

RTJ Golf Trail

My group rented the house for a trip to play golf at the courses at Grand National in Opelika. We also drove to Prattvillle to play there one day. The house is convenient to get to the Opelika courses and convenient to get to Auburn campus. Jenny is extremely helpful and a great communicator. Great experience, highly recommended.

In most cases, I will meet you on arrival to give you a quick tour of the space and answer any questions. After that you can contact me at any time if you need anything. I live close by with my husband and two daughters and thus will be readily available! As a family we love learning together, enjoying the outdoors, games, reading and serving in our church.

Why they chose this property

The area surrounding Pond House on the Plains is a small and quiet rural neighborhood only 6 miles from the Auburn University campus and all the Auburn games and activities. Our location between Auburn and Opelika is also equally close to Tiger Town, Downtown Opelika and Robert Trent Jones Golf Course. We are convenient to all the events while being out of the noise and congestion of traffic and crowds. Access to the pond is shared with the neighbors who use it infrequently.

What makes this property unique

This is my hometown and family property for generations. I love the area so much. I will be more than happy to help you with any local questions or recommendations.
