About this property

Traditional stone vacation home on a hill in the immediate vicinity of Radicondoli, in the province

Traditional stone vacation home on a hill in the immediate vicinity of Radicondoli, in the province of Siena. This small medieval village, one of the Italian villages surrounded by ancient walls, is located on a hill and the panoramic view you can enjoy from here is over the wooded Tuscan hills. The house has a cozy atmosphere and from both the double bedroom and the living room you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the surrounding countryside. In the living room there is a sofa bed as well as an open gallery (with skylight), which is accessible by means of a wooden ladder and on which there is another sleeping place. The house is surrounded by a natural plot with olive trees and is an ideal place to relax and unwind. The outdoor area is equipped with table, chairs, deck chairs, sensory umbrella and barbecue, so you can enjoy your meals, from morning to night outdoors. Here you can read your favorite book on the hammock while the children play undisturbed in the garden. It is an excellent starting point for your day trips to Siena (48 km), Florence (78 km) and San Gimignano (39 km), as well as to the world famous and unique Abbey of San Galgano (about 30 minutes by car), where the mysterious sword in the rock is located. Disappointing
The pros: Karin was super friendly. Great communication and took extra time to familiarize me with the area. The property itself was disappointing. Dark. The living room had a musty smell. I went there to write and have quiet, but the constant dog barking (that went on all night) and tractors just across in the next field prevented me from enjoying the outdoor space. I contacted Novasol (who didn't care) and the owner never replied either. I wouldn't recommend. The only thing I enjoyed was the fireplace in the kitchen, which you can get in many other places, but I did not have the peace and quiet I had expected. I left after two nights (I had booked four nights) and paid for another place.

Nice place to rest and watch the hills around you
I have stayed here two times now and I like it. The house is quite isolated, something that I prefer. In my opinion the main asset of this house is the view. The hills and valleys, the olive trees, the wild boars in the fields when the sun goes down, and other animals that are sometimes hard to spot. During the day you can sit or lie in the hammock below the trees that give you plenty of shadow. Often there is a cooling breeze too. I will definitely come back again someday.
