Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. There were plenty of games to keep children occupied. A lighted pavillion for evening gatherings and plenty of chairs to sit out front and enjoy the outdoors.

Annual extended family trip, they enjoyed trails and Natural Bridge state park. This 4 unit lodge is very tired and poorly maintained inside and out. We were told there were 3 grills to cook on and upon arrival it was evident the grills had not been used or cleaned for a long time. The electrical wiring and circuits in pavilion and the lodge were sketchy at best.Utensils and tableware were almost non-existent in some units so we had to raid from all units to get meals prepared and served. At least one unit had pet hair on furniture and bedding, so we cleaned and got by. Drainage of water coming off of the mountain and roof areas was not sufficient to keep moisture away from the lodge, dehumidifiers were emptied twice a day and it still smelled musty in the units. After traveling the World and staying in many different types of accommodations we have never seen such poor workmanship and quality of units from the flooring to the cabinets to the plumbing fixtures and also the installation of trim and etc. This is definitely a laid back area on a dead end road. We enjoyed the quiet setting and being with family but just don't look too close at your { lodge}or the mouse droppings in your kitchen area each morning. We took our own firewood and cooked all of our meals together, but the grills need to find new replacements Soon. Never did figure out what all the GREAT STUFF spray foam was about around kitchen cabinets, countertops and even the staircase area going to upper level.
Our church's Young Adults group had an amazing stay here! It's a really cool place to say and offers a great break from phones if you're looking for one since the cell service here is non-existent. There is Wi-Fi, however, in case you're worried :). The place was clean, well-equipped, and had all the amenities listed. In addition, its only a short jaunt up the road to get to either Red River Gorge or Natural Bridge!
Our group was very happy here! Any group would be!
