Beautiful location and lodging. Great place to get family or friends together due to separate bedrooms and bathrooms. Location is walkable and close to the metro and good restaurants. Lorenza was very responsible and helpful and Alex took great care of us!
House was beautiful with great common areas and rooms, Alex the live-in housekeeper was also very accommodating and friendly. Was the perfect spot for group travels
House was absolutely beautiful and everything we hoped it would be. Everyone’s room was clean and spacious and Alex was extremely helpful. If I’m back in Mexico City this listing would be my first choice.
The place strikes a great balance between private room space and communal areas for socializing. The location couldn’t have been better—right in Roma Norte, with a taco stand conveniently open late just across the street.Alex, the onsite groundskeeper, was incredibly kind and worked hard to keep the space organized, which was no small task given there were 10 of us creating our fair share of messes. The only suggestion I’d offer is to consider refurbishing the rooftop deck. Some of the planks were spaced just wide enough that chair legs could slip through. It wasn’t a major issue, but we had to be mindful about where we sat.
My partner and 14 friends stayed here for my birthday celebration and we could not have been happier with our choice. Each of the rooms has it's own private bathroom, is spotlessly clean, and comfortable. No AC, but small heaters, plenty of blankets and towels are available. There is a big dining room downstairs and ample hang-out space in the courtyard and on the rooftop deck.
Alejandro, the caretaker, lives on site and was extremely helpful and attentive to all of our needs, including washing our dishes, helping to put away groceries, and even helping us to secure Lucha Libre tickets! We also scheduled cleaning for the rooms with the property for an extra fee during our stay, which was helpful.
The location is within a 5-15 minute walk of the heart of Roma and all the fantastic restaurants and shops, groceries, liquor stores, etc. The house itself is on a quieter side street, though you should naturally expect some street noise being in the center of the city.
A few notes for folks staying here: while the dining room is great and there's plenty of plates/glassware, the kitchen is not very well stocked from a cooking perspective (there's only a couple pans, 1 cutting board). Most people wouldn't plan to cook with all the easily accessible food all around, but something to be aware of. We made the mistake of keeping our doors/windows open and as a result had a lot of mosquitos in our room in early October - this was 100% our fault, but word to the wise for your stay!
Was a great place for our group to stay. Walking distance to great food and had good places to sit and relax. Each room allowed for privacy. Would go back again
