The lodge was a great place to stay. There were age related activities available for everyone including Fishing, swimming, games, and playground equipment. The room accommodations were very comfortable. The kitchen was roomy and well equipped. We enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful and quiet location. Perfect for our family reunion. Very well equipped kitchen. Many VRBO's only give you a starting supply of paper products, but Lost Branch provides an ample quantity for a large group. Owner is very detailed in providing everything you need for your stay. We would definitely stay again.

Lovely place!

We enjoyed holding our family reunion here! It was spacious, clean, and met our needs well! A shout out to the owners for all the lovely upgrades to the place- including a children’s play set! Definitely recommend this place.

Family trip

We stayed at Lost Branch Lodge for our 9th Family Trip, and everyone voted this our favorite place so far. The lodge was so organized and clean. The host thought of everything to make our stay easy, convenient, fun, and relaxing. It is such a beautiful place, and our grandchildren absolutely loved the pond, sand beach, fishing, swimming, and canoeing. Perfect spot for our family to reconnect!

We stayed here and had our wedding here! Was wonderful, the hosts were so amazing and accommodating. One of the AC units was not working right and the hosts had someone over to look at it the next morning. Definitely would recommend to anyone!

Great Family Gathering Space

We were delightfully inspired by the rustic and updated design of this space. very Comfortable in hot weather- AC worked great and comfortable for large crowd. Bedrooms well designed and everyone liked their private bathrooms. We booked again for next year! Thank you, Gerald!

Incredible A Home Away from Home

Perfect gathering place for our Annual Christmas celebration! The lodge had INCREDIBLE amenities, fully and I mean fully stocked kitchen and cooking and utensils and appliances for preparing our full meals and eating as a large group for all our meals together! Such a warm cozy fun filled adventure to book and enjoy our family time together and enoughRoom to spread out and have private time or quiet time as needed for families and children. Would Definitely rebook and recommend for large groups. The multi propose room was a great place to gather for games and snacks and crafting/coloring/puzzle stations ands set up game areas to accommodate all age ranges! Thank you!

Great outdoor retreat

We have been coming here for four years now and enjoy the laid back escape from life’s busyness. The updates that have been done are beautiful and the space fits our extended family well. We love the small pond with beach located at the property for swimming with all ages and those that like to fish can do so on the far side of the pond. The only drawback is if you are looking for activities other than outdoorsy things there isn’t very much available in Kirksville. We have done the axe throwing and the escape room. We enjoy spending time at Thousand Hills State park where we can use boats and there is a beach there as well.

Amazing place

We had 14 kids aging from 2 years old to 18 years old. They all had a fabulous time. the play area was so much fun for the little ones. We brought kayaks and fishing poles, they were busy from morning to dark. They caught so many cool fish. Played on the beach. We had a hard time getting them to come in when it was time to eat. Oh and you people thought of everything, we wanted for nothing. It was all in the lodge. All my people kept saying how much they loved the place and we should come back. Places to eat, get groceries, or go to church, are just minutes away. Thank you so much for a wonderful weekend.

This is a terrific property for large groups. The host has provided everything you need: additional tables and chairs, outdoor and indoor games, and the kitchen is the most well equipped of any rental I have ever had. We have already booked for next year!

The property is excellent! Fully supplied from paper towels to toilet paper…. Full set of dishes and pots and pans for all 24 of us! Games, volleyball, water fun in the pond to catching the biggest fish!! Great communication with the property manager!! Even saw a bobcat kitten!

Our family has been staying at Lost Branch Lodge for years now. Its wonderful that it's a space that's big enough for our group as well as comfortable and convenient. The kids love playing in the pond (even when I thought it was too cold out).
