This was our second year at Lost Branch Resort & we’re already booked for next year!It meets all of our needs with the 8 bedrooms with bathrooms, space in the Rec area for little kids to play in, a large, well equipped kitchen. There isn’t anything missing! Hosts are great with communication! It’s an awesome resort!

It is an amazing spot for large groups! Super well equipped kitchen. Amazing spaces to hang, play and still be able to put littles to bed! No TV! Which forced the kids to play which was amazing!

Really enjoyed our stay here. The place was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Everything was well-maintained and looked just like the photos. The host was great, easy to communicate with and quick to respond whenever we had a question. We had a wonderful experience and would happily stay here again.

Great building for our family reunion. We had 5 families that ranged from 1 to over 70. Everyone had a great time. Plenty of space to play and to get away from family members. Plenty of outdoor games provided. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment and utensils for all. Plenty of indoor seating. We didn’t need a TV but there is no TV. Wi-Fi worked great. Not too far from Kirksville to be able to visit the city swimming pool, Walmart, or any other quick food options. House was very clean.

Fantastic! We were a party of 12 adults and 6 children. It was said over and over again throughout our stay how absolutely perfect this property is for a group like ours. There are 2 beds and private bathroom in every single bedroom, as well as a separate rec room on the back of the building perfect for kids to be loud. Ours brought their roller skates and skated the whole weekend. The pool table in the photos was missing which was a bit of a disappointment, but we assumed it had been damaged by prior guests as the pool sticks and pool balls were still there. As mentioned by others, the kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed. Even plenty of napkins provided on the huge dining table, and soap provided at every sink throughout the entire building. Plenty of towels & bedding. Fire pits & firewood was amazing. We got a ton of use out of the sandy beach, dock, and canoe! Even played a game of croquet we found in the rec room! Walmart is a quick 15-20 min away. I cannot say enough positive things. We definitely hope to come back!!

The lodge was a great place to stay. There were age related activities available for everyone including Fishing, swimming, games, and playground equipment. The room accommodations were very comfortable. The kitchen was roomy and well equipped. We enjoyed our stay!

This is a terrific property for large groups. The host has provided everything you need: additional tables and chairs, outdoor and indoor games, and the kitchen is the most well equipped of any rental I have ever had. We have already booked for next year!
