Easy to communicate with host, she gave the layout of the town, and also gave great checking instructions. Rooms were very accommodating. Thanks for the hospitality!
Comfortable bed. Temperature was fine. I didn’t know it was a shared bathroom with others but that’s my bad I suppose. Also two doors into the building confused some. A guy walked into our room thinking he’d come in the other door. No harm done but a bit disconcerting.
Slept well nice and clean.. we replaced the batteries to the remote of the A/C…that was simple… easy access to everything in town super comfortable.. thank you
Our stay at Carman’s Marfa was exceptional. Very clean, everything you may need was available. We would highly recommend for families. Outdoor patio. Wry nice with grills.
The place was beautifully appointed and very clean. Somehow we had missed the information that bathroom facilities were shared spaces down the hall from our room, which was a little inconvenient. But these shared spaces were beautiful and clean.

If you are looking for a “European-type hostel,” then this place is for you. The pricing came out to a lot more than was listed, as they charged for cleaning fees As for me, I prefer a bathroom & shower in my room. The mattress was very uncomfortable, as well as the cheap, dark blue bedding (that I’m sure is dirty)! The room & bathrooms were very clean, but would definitely never stay here again. Checked out other places in Marfa, (Hotel Pasiano), for much less & wished I would have stayed there. Oh well, live & learn.
