About this property

This charming and spacious cabin is the ideal place for a relaxing and fun-filled getaway to Big Bear. The cozy family room features a wood-burning fireplace and a large flat-screen TV, perfect for a movie night. Step outside to the backyard and unwind in the hot tub under the covered patio or fire up the propane barbecue for a delicious meal.

Inside, the dining area provides ample seating for your group, while the updated kitchen features stainless steel appliances, including a fridge/freezer, gas range/oven, and microwave. There's a standard coffee maker and a Keurig machine for your caffeine fix.

The first bedroom, located off the family room, offers a twin-over-full bunk, a flat-screen TV with Blu-ray player, and plenty of closet space. Head upstairs to the loft/game room area and have some fun playing pool, darts, or the vintage-style arcade game. There's also an 80" flat-screen TV for your entertainment.

The second bedroom, located to the left of the loft area, features a queen bed, flat-screen TV, and ample closet space. Completing the upstairs area is a full bath off the hall and the third bedroom with a king bed, flat-screen TV, and ample closet space.

With high-end decor, furnishings, and linens, this home has everything you need for a comfortable and memorable stay in Big Bear. Additional features include wall heating, space heaters in every bedroom, blow dryers in each restroom, internet/WiFi, and towels and linens provided.

History of El Nido

"El Nido" (the Nest) was originally built in 1985. We purchased the house, Jan 2021 and completely remodeled the kitchen and flooring downstairs. The back deck was built and a brand new Jacuzzi was installed. The house was re-furnished with brand new modern furniture and decor to give you all the modern amenities you need while enjoying the classic mountain experience. We put a lot of pride and attention into every detail of "El Nido" and welcome your family in as part of our family, to enjoy and take care of the house as if it were your own.

Great & Loble Cabin!

Great property for families

We had a wonderful stay at El Nido for a long weekend with the family. The property was clean and conveniently located in Big Bear. We loved the game room and the kids really loved the game console. The hot tub was super nice after a long day, and we loved the easy access to hiking trails nearby. Hosts were very responsive to the couple of small issues we had. Highly recommend this property.
