Island architecture offers year round resort-type lifestyle. A Guest House (2 bed/2 bath) with salt water swimming pool (separating it from the main house) can accommodate 4 guests comfortably. All rooms have decks with incredible views of the Bay and the Koolau Mountains. Situated on a knoll overlooking the boat house and dock gives instant access to water activities such as fishing, kayaking, water skiing or just sitting by the edge of the grass to enjoy the sound of the water lapping at the shore. Reading a book in the gazebo under the shade of the coconut trees and cooled by the trade wind breezes offers quiet comfort. Myriad pictures for photographs from sunrise to sunset available to enhance your memories of a trip to paradise. A spacious free-flowing living space that blurs the line between indoors and out. Dining is on the covered lanai with panoramic views from mountains to sea. Relaxing on lanai offers comfortable seating for guests with views like no other. Each queen bedroom also has a private covered lanai with additional outdoor seating. We are across the bay from Makani Kai Marina enabling views of lovely sail boats and yachts as they move in and out of the harbor. Sunrise to sunset beyond the hills and mountains offer a changing kaleidoscope of colors in the sky.

We are surrounded by palm trees waving in the trade winds, birds singing in the trees shading the property, many different hues of blue in the water and sky coloring the landscape. Each morning is a new canvas already painted for you to enjoy.

My husband, our 2 adult children and I had an incredible stay here! Even though we arrived at midnight, Gail was right there to greet us and get us settled. This was a fantastic home base for us while visiting local family - we had them over for casual dinner one night and then to swim and watch a World Cup match the next day - my sister-in-law remarked that it was like being at a resort. We used the kitchenette quite a bit for breakfast and snacks. The dining table in the pool area was a favorite spot, between the view of Kaneohe Bay and its therapeutic breeze! We relaxed and slept well, too. The unit was well-stocked with everything that we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

We SO enjoyed our stay at this property - with Gail as our "hostess with the mostest," and Malia taking care of all our needs. Our family of four adults was so comfortable, from the rooms, beds, and bathrooms, to the outdoor living areas, the incredible views and trade winds, the refreshing and clean pool, the usage of the beach chairs and umbrellas, and so much more. The kitchenette had everything we needed to make meals, always topped off with the yummy Hawaiian cookies that were our arrival gift from Malia. :-) It was such a peaceful home base for everything we did - whether restful reading or games at the house, or all of our activities around Oahu. And, while we were able to leave (as scheduled) just as Hurricane Lala was arriving, the offer to help us with a slightly extended stay if we weren't able to make it out was SO generous and appreciated. Gail, we also enjoyed our chats with you - we're part of your Ohana now - please come see us if you're ever in Maryland/DC!

We had an excellent stay at the property. The location was convenient for the events we had to attend in the North Shore area as well as visits to Kailua and Honolulu. We especially enjoyed watching the sunrise while having coffee next to the pool overlooking Kaneohe Bay. The hosts were wonderful, and we definitely hope to return for another visit!

First thing we did was open all the doors to enjoy the bay's views and ocean breeze. Fun layout and super comfortable. Beautiful sunrises! Easy 25 minute drive to University of Hawaii. Really enjoyed getting to know hosts too. Nice family.

Wonderful stay

We absolutely loved our stay here. Gail and Red were awesome! They view on the front patio is amazing and we enjoyed sitting out there drinking our coffee. The amenities were great and made our stay so much better.

Cute guest suite on a lovely bay

The pool and upstairs decks have expansive views of the bay. We enjoyed watching aerial exercises at the Marine base across the way.Our hosts were extremely gracious and welcoming, and when an issue did arise they were quick to solve it.

Hawaii dream trip

We stayed in the guest house portion of a larger home. The property owners were home and helped to add character to this trip. I was worried about no air conditioning- but the Hawaiian breezes prevailed and sleeping was very comfortable. We had lots of privacy and really enjoyed the whole time

Excellent Location

A very unique set up that is in a gorgeous setting. The family hosting us was incredibly hospitable and eager to answer any questions and offer anything needed. This was the perfect set up for our small family get together. The pool and lounging space was just right for games, visiting, swimming, and central to any locations we wanted to visit. Loved our stay!

Swedish family on Hawaiian vacation

Great house for a Swedish family on our first Hawaii vacation. We will return to Hawaii in the future 😃 Lots of space, and a great pool to enjoy for a family of 5. Barbecue on the grill and a fantastic lounge area. I would really recommend this house to all my friends and family.

Family together!

Wonderful escape

It was unforgettable. The house and the view are spectacular. The whole family has been very kind, warm and helpful. While they gave us a space, they helped in anything we asked for without a heartbeat. I would stay here again. Gail and Malia, we appreciate this hospitality so much!
