Bungalow in the desert, but near the city

Our cozy little bungalow is located on the north shore of the Swakop River, with a magnificent view of the foothills of the moonscape. It offers peace, space, reflection - but also a rustic barbecue area. Suitable for couples, solo adventurers and individualistic business travelers.
On the plot live two workers who perform small tasks for a modest fee, eg car washing, cleaning after grilling, etc.

Peaceful and Comfortable

Lovely surrounds and very comfortable little unit. Great views of the "Moon Landscape". Very quiet and peaceful - relaxing. Hosts friendly, helpful and discreet. Things to note: 1)It is 18km from Swakopmund, of which 7km is gravel road. This suited me fine, but others may prefer to be closer to town, especially if you want to go out at night.2)The self catering facilities are basic (heat & eat). Suited my needs fine.3)At the time of my booking, Vrbo listed the checkin time as 4pm. This is wrong, you can check in earlier. If this has not been corrected, contact the host. (I wish I had).
