This marvelous Lodge is a 3000 square feet custom lake house located on a bluff overlook Toledo Bend Reservoir. Enjoy a cup of coffee with the beautiful Sunrise or relax with a magnificent sunset lakefront view. Toledo Bend offers world class bass fishing and many nature adventures. This house has so much space with room to sleep additional guests if you bring your own sleeping bag or air mattress (for more details please contact host). Please Note: you will not have direct access to the water in the back of this property, however, boat access is a couple of blocks away.

Cleanest place I've ever stayed at on Toledo Bend

We had a blast at your place this weekend, and hope we left it clean and in satisfactory condition. This is definitely the best place we have ever stayed on Toledo Bend, and it is where we will stay from now on. The yard is huge, the views are magnificent, and the Cabin is clean as can be! The media room is to die for, and the foosball table was a blast.

Family Fun

The location of the property was easy to find and the cabin was even better than the photo. the property was very clean and well maintained. The owners were very friendly and very helpful. I would recommend this property to anyone wanting a getaway it is absolutely beautiful! The fishing was also great even though the weather was unseasonably cold.

Awesome Family Vacation Spot

My family stayed here for our Spring Break and we really enjoyed our time there. The cabin is BEAUTIFUL, we were beyond impressed. The view from the back porch and back yard is amazing. We are already talking about visiting again next year. Also, the owners are wonderful people, very friendly and very accommodating. I would definitely recommend this cabin to friends and family. I will say that if you have anyone going on the trip that doesn't do steps or stairs well there are quite a few that lead down to the fishing pier.

Beautiful, Comfortable, and Fun!

This place is awesome! The natural landscape is beautiful, the grounds are well maintained (and offer a ton of activities like volleyball, soccer, golf, fishing, archery, and more), and best of all was the cabin. It was obvious that a lot of time and detail went into making the cabin as beautiful and comfortable as it is. I wish I could live there! The owners are incredibly friendly and accommodating as well. I can't recommend this place enough--I know I'll be back.

Very nice and clean.

This house is very comfortable and clean. The grandchildren loved the movie theatre and the pool table upstairs. We were disappointed that access to the Lake was difficult. The boat ramp is a short distance from the house, where the charge is $5. All in all our stay was lovely.

Lodge review

We stayed at the lodge to evacuate for Hurricane Laura. Little did we know she would strengthen stronger than any of us could anticipate. Missy was super sweet and kept checking on us. Very nice owners and made us feel welcome especially with Cat 2 hurricane conditions happening outside. Definitely keeping this property in mind for future vacations and family gatherings!

Great Family Weekend

What a special family weekend! This was the third time to be at Cliffside and we will be back next year. Missy and Tracy are very attentive owners and are there if you have questions. Everyone, kids and grand kids had a great time. The water bounce house, the huge yard to play in, fishing from the pier, feeding fish at the pond, the pontoon boat, golfing, horseshoes, grilling dinner, then sleeping in comfortable beds...what more can you ask for?

Great Lodge

This house is absolutely wonderful. Very clean and well equipped. We had kids from 11-20 years old. All enjoyed the pool table, theater room, fire pit and all the little extras in the house. My only disappointment was that the dock was not visible from the house. It is only a short walk away. Owners were very responsive and caring. Highly recommend for families.

We LOVE Cliffside!!!!

This is actually the third time we have visited this property! The first was about 6 years ago and on the first night of our visit a tornado hit and knocked out power so the owners comped us another weekend where we came back and enjoyed!! This time was even better! The lake was beautiful! The house is beautiful! The theatre is amazing! We had the best weekend! We can't wait to come back in the near future!! The owners are very responsive with any questions or problems you may have! Perfect mini vacay!!!

Great bachelor party house!

The house was wonderful, the accommodations were first class, and the view was perfect. I hosted a bachelor party for my friend at the lodge and it provided the perfect setting. The projector tv room was ideal for watching the LSU game. The sleeping quarters were very nice. The back porch, firepit, and yard were great for entertaining. The pier was a small walk from the house, and the heavy winds prevented us from fishing but that was out of anyone's control. I think if the pier was lighted for night fishing, this house would be over the top perfect.

This place was fantastic! I want to buy it but I don't think it's for sale. The fishing was awesome and the Lodge was magnificent. The owners go above and beyond anyone's expectations. I can't wait for my next visit and I have friends that I'm bringing that are equally as eager. You can sit on the back porch and see bald eagles, you don't need to fish! The fishing and the lodge were great. You either have great lodging and sorry fishing or great fishing a fish camp. We have done this numerous times. I recommend this place to anyone.

Rest, relaxation and fun!

This place was amazing and had everything you need to get away, including blender, crockpot and outside patio grill area. The views of the resevoir were beautiful and peaceful. If you like bird watching this is the place. The kids enjoyed riding bikes, fishing from pier, splashing around in the cove and on the one rainy afternoon the theater room! Plenty of room for everyone to spread out and do their own if you want. Close to other lake recreation if you want to venture out (Red Hill Lake area was nice). The owners were si hospitable and incredibly nice, easy to reach and answered all questions pretty quickly. Definitely keeping this place on our vacation list! We recommend the Cliffside Lodge as a great getaway. You won't be disappointed.

Just What We Wanted

We searched through many properties before settling on this one. We were very happy with our choice. Our first impression was one of delight as we walked through each of the rooms. The layout flows nicely, the furnishings are tasteful, and everything is very clean. One thing that is a MUST for us is a comfortable bed to sleep in. Wow! All the beds are very comfy, with nice linens. The owners were accessible for any question we might have. This was a family get-together with all leaving happy. Our granddaughter caught her first fish. We are already booked for next year.

Perfect Get-away!

This was our 2nd year here for a family reunion/get-away. The lodge is such a beautiful place...clean....well maintained...and comfortable. Our family rented the lodge and the new lake house this year. What fun we had!! We enjoyed walks down the stairs to the cove, playing bocce ball in the grass behind the lodge, watching fireflies and the eagles fly by, sitting on the back porch looking at the lake, eating too much food prepared in the well-stocked kitchen, much visiting, laughing, and catching up! The unusual cool weather in July was a welcome thing!! We enjoyed meeting Missy and Tracy. We appreciate you allowing us to experience such a great weekend at Toledo Bend! Reservations for our 3rd summer together have been made! See you next year!

Awesome weekend!

We stayed 3 nights Father's Day weekend as a surprise for my Mother's 50th birthday. She wasn't the only one surprised! We were blown away by the house. It was nice in the pics, but much prettier in person. The owners have really gone all out on the building of this house. The showers and towels were nice quality. The bedrooms were extremely comfortable. There was plenty of room for 4 couples and all of the grandkids. We also booked the one bedroom cabin to give my parents their own space. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need. We also grilled steaks on the patio one night. The kids spent hours in the game room and everyone loved the awesome theater room. The back porch was an amazing spot for my morning coffee. The private cove was the icing on the birthday cake! We were able to pull our boat and 3 jet skis right up for breaks. It was so cool to be able to play in the water right there near the house! We will definitely stay again and have recommended the spot to several friends! Thanks for the hospitality!
