Our Best Stay in San Jose

The apartment was very cleaned, quiet, safe and excellent location. Cindy was ALWAYS available to assist us. We will definitely stay there again.

Great location

I liked the location and the fact that there is an inside parking available by request and extra cost of course and walking distance to restaurants and other daily necessities within few minutes drive. From airport or to down town is about 20-25 drive.

Great stay in San José

Our time in this apartment was very nice. The accommodation is clean, new, and very nice. The pool is wonderful. :-) The host was easy to reach at any time and really nice. The location is perfect for a stay in San José. Everything is easily accessible and yet it is a relaxed environment.

Decided to extend my stay

I ended up extending my stay as my plans changed and had to stay in San Jose longer. The owner Cindy was quick and made the extension super easy.

Really nice, practical and cozy apartment! I was surprised how well I slept. Even though there is a big construction work just across the street, the sound isolation is very good. Fast and stable internet, but not ideal seating for a digital nomad lifestyle. The bar stools are not entirely comfortable for a long-time work on laptop and the table on the balcony is not big enough to properly postion keyboard, mouse and elbows. I spend a lot of time at computer so I'm picky about these details :) Cindy was accomodating and communicated well, I only had problem with prolonging my stay. Apparently, this website/app won't allow you to send a request to prolong your stay if it already started and hosts have trouble with that too. First my flight was canceled so I needed to move it by one day and then during my stay I needed to prolong it by one more day - and in both cases neither me or host were able to do that and we had to go through a painfully long process with involving the tech support. So big thumb down for this to Vrbo. But otherwise, all was well, neighborhood was safe and I'd love to come back some day for sure!

Accurate

The place was as described. Everything we needed for the most part was available. The view is exactly as stated, beautiful view of the mountains The area was convenient, in walking distance to lots of stores including fresh market and McDonald's. A park is in walking distance. We paid an additional 84 for parking for parking in the building parking lot. You have to pay for laundry. The apartment could use a good set of stainless steel pots and pans, a grater is good. Also a guide for the local area in Spanish and English. More detail cleaning especially the floor, hair all over rug and some of utensils dirty. A set of mixing bowls would be great. Instructions for the trash would be useful.ovrall a good place for two people..

Short stay in San Jose

The unit is nice, with a few minor problems. Only one washcloth in the bathroom which they asked us about after our stay. We absolutely did not take a washcloth, I believe that has been cleared up. The hairdryer in the bathroom was not working, which for my wife is a problem. Unlike many Vrbo’s back in the states there was no useful information in the unit. No loacal shops, restaurants, grocery store etc..When we arrived at the apartment there was not even a sheet listing such basics as WiFi network and password. I’m not sure how rentals work in Costa Rica, but, in my experience elsewhere this is way below standards.Sorry but I have to be truthful.
