Wonderful, spacious HQ for Mallorca stay

We never got tired of the views from this house. Very clean and roomy. Great patio and pool area. Beach, shops and restaurants within walking distance.

Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing, mainly due to the air conditioning and how the issue was handled.The villa was advertised as having air conditioning, but on arrival it was showing as being on while not actually cooling any of the rooms. The temps were showing around 28C. I contacted the host immediately & was told the owner had advised that new air conditioning had been installed and would be finished by 7am the following morning (why were we not informed prior?)This meant spending our first night without air conditioning in around 30C heat, with two 4-month-old babies. No fans or alternative cooling were provided. The host was also not particularly responsive or apologetic.The following day, despite repeatedly messaging for updates, my messages were ignored. I eventually had to say we would leave if it wasn’t resolved by 1pm. The host then came to inspect it and said it “seemed cool enough”, despite the rooms still showing 26–28C. With two young babies, this was not cool enough for us.Further messages were again ignored, and we felt very little responsibility was taken for the situation.The property was also advertised as having a kettle, which was missing, although the host did kindly arrange for one to be brought.We also asked whether any compensation would be offered for the 24 hours without air conditioning but received no response.Overall, the lack of working air conditioning and the poor communication significantly affected our stay.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We informed you as soon as we received the information regarding the air conditioning. During our visit, the temperature throughout the house was cool—ideal for adults, children, and babies. Expecting to reach 20°C or lower is unrealistic; with an outside temperature of 30°C, that would almost certainly lead to everyone catching a cold, especially the babies. Our technician delivered the kettle to the villa immediately. Our villa is wonderful—a fact confirmed by all our guests. Regarding communication: we were in contact via the VRBO chat, WhatsApp, and email. What was missing?
