Glampsite Details:
Fall Branch Falls! Each dome directly borders the falls and offers an amazing way to experience the falls and surrounding environment
Hiking - Glamp Blue Ridge directly borders the famous Benton MacKaye Trail. Just cross over at the top of falls and you have access to over 300 miles of hiking!
2 community firepits
Treeweave Hammock - Oh man, this is so cool. You're just going to have to trust us here.
Landscape lighting - the entire property lights up at night to create a very special feel and the ease of getting around.
General Details:
While we have taken all efforts to provide the highest Glamping experience possible, there are still some elements of camping at Glamp Blue Ridge that we would like you to be aware of:
HVAC - the domes have an oversized HVAC system and do provide a comfortable interior temperature. But, in extremely cold or hot weather the systems will be unable to offer a crisp 72 degrees due to little insulation in the domes. Expect mid 70s in extremely hot weather and mid 60s in extremely cold weather with some hot or cold pockets in some areas of the home.
Nature - the domes are treated monthly for pest control, but it is possible you will see an insect or two in the domes.
The Falls - Fall Branch Falls is a public waterfall accessible to the public via a hike. You will see hikers around the falls and on the public viewing platform at the bottom of the falls. We have signage designating Glamp Blue Ridge as private property, but it is still possible a hiker may cross the falls to get a closer look at Glamp Blue Ridge. We have met countless visitors over the 2-year process of building Glamp Blue Ridge and have never had an issue politely asking hikers to stay on the US National Forest side of the falls.
Dome Distances - Each dome is 30-50 feet from each other. We have oriented the domes so that the outside deck space still offers a good bit of privacy from the other domes.
The Area:
Glamp Blue Ridge borders the Aska adventure area. Offering hiking, mountain biking, fishing, and some of the most picturesque forests in the Blue Ridge area
20 minutes to downtown Blue Ridge or Ellijay offering high-end dining, breweries, shopping, drive-in movie theater and much more!
10 minutes from the Toccoa River with tubing, rafting, kayaking, fishing, gem-mining and more!
25 minutes from Lake Blue Ridge Marina where you can rent a boat and experience one of the prettiest lakes is Southeast.
High-five if you read all this! Nice work
