About this property

House in Alsace - idyllic vineyards, culture and excellent cuisine

Once you have arrived in Alsace, you will simply be fascinated by the many delightful villages with their pretty half-timbered houses, by the untouched nature, but also by the imposing castles and palaces
Our building biological house has a special octagonal open shape, all walls are made of clay or wood and painted with organic lime paint - large windows and an open gallery to the living room create a wonderful atmosphere.
The house has a beautiful, spacious living area with TV, dining area, a completely new kitchen, and a newly renovated bathroom with walk-in shower and toilet. The entire ground floor is barrier-free.
Hardly any other region offers such a varied and contrasting landscape in such a small space: Dense forests, endless valleys, but also flat plains and vineyards as far as the eye can see, ensure a very special stay in the heart of Europe.
A visit at Christmas time is also worthwhile when the three cities - Strasbourg, Colmar and Mulhouse - with their cozy Christmas markets are transformed into an illuminated winter paradise.

What a wonderful place

My husband and are two large dogs stayed here for five days, everything was great. A beautiful large secure garden. And was very comfortable. Would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone

The Gite and garden itself was excellent, one of the best we have stayed in and the general area was very nice. On the down side, the lack of any facilities within walking distance (shops/cafe/restaurant etc) means that you must use your car for everything. Also the local neighbourhood dogs were pretty annoying, barking at each other for no apparent reason!

Unfortunately I needed to do some work and not only was wifi a separate charge, but also the host said it couldn’t be set up if you don’t give notice prior to arriving. In addition, it was very cold outside and the heat could not keep up- the house stayed at 12 C for the duration of our time- the kids were freezing. As a result we ended up checking into a hotel so we could do our work and not be freezing.

Spectacular modern house alongside the Rhine

The listing and photos for this property don't fully convey how spectacular this home is. It has been fully updated since its original construction and provides a light and airy house set in a garden bathed in sunshine from east, south and west. There is a spacious ground floor bedroom, a further large upstairs bedroom and a smaller upstairs single bedroom. The kitchen is fully equipped apart from no microwave oven and there is a good washing machine (but no dryer). Overall there is plenty of space for a family of five. So many places to visit nearby in France it is impossible to list them all. We were surprised by and loved the very efficient nearby ** free of charge ** all day / every day short car ferry ride providing easy access over the Rhine into Germany for places like Europa Park and the northbound Autobahn access at Rust. Highly recommended!

Petit dĂ©faut :trĂšs longue Ă  chauffer en dĂ©cembre car inoccupĂ©e depuis un certain temps, il faisait vraiment froid Ă  l'intĂ©rieur ! Il y a un poĂȘle Ă  bois, c'est indispensable de l'allumer en arrivant et nous n'avions pas Ă©tĂ© prĂ©venus, la 1Ăšre nuit n'a pas Ă©tĂ© trĂšs agrĂ©able... Le classeur d'instructions n'est pas assez dĂ©taillĂ©, la TV fonctionne avec CanalSat, nous n'avons pas rĂ©ussi Ă  trouver les chaĂźnes françaises ! Et il manque le WiFi et un four Ă  micro-ondes. MalgrĂ© ces petits dĂ©tails, nous sommes ravis de notre sĂ©jour en Alsace !!

La maison est magnifique et l’emplacement idĂ©al pour dĂ©couvrir l’Alsace et un bout de l’Allemagne. Le Check-in et le check-out se sont trĂšs bien passĂ©s. Les informations sont claires et la maison trĂšs bien Ă©quipĂ©e. Toutefois, Ă  savoir, le wifi est une option, ce qui n’est pas prĂ©cisĂ© dans l’annonce et les chaĂźnes de la tĂ©lĂ©vision sont en allemand pour la plupart. De plus, il faisait trĂšs chaud lors de notre sĂ©jour et la tempĂ©rature a l’étage est difficilement descendue en dessous de 29 degrĂ©s. Bon Ă  savoir quand on a des enfants. Un deuxiĂšme ventilateur pour la deuxiĂšme chambre serait apprĂ©ciable. Nous avons dĂ» faire preuve d’ingĂ©niositĂ© pour occulter la chaleur venant du toit en verre (qui est magnifique mais qui rĂ©chauffe fortement) car le store avait Ă©tĂ© cassĂ© mais que nous n’avions pas Ă©tĂ© prĂ©venus. Bref, une magnifique maison, qui rendra votre sĂ©jour fort agrĂ©able si les tempĂ©ratures ne sont pas trop hautes.

Ein absoluter Traumort! Leider haben wir laut Inserat nicht richtig verstanden, dass das Wlan nicht im Preis inbegriffen ist.Die Wlan Buchung vor Ort hat dann nicht funktioniert.(Trotz BemĂŒhungen der Vermieterin)Statt uns zu nerven haben wir beschlossen, diese Tage in Saasenheim als digital Detox zu nutzen! Dieser paradiesische Ort lĂ€dt einem gerade zu ein dazu! So wohl im Innenbereich , wie auch im Garten schenkt einem dieser Ort viel Ruhe und Entspannung. Wir kommen ganz bestimmt wieder! Merci, dass wir dieses Bijoux nutzen durften!

Sehr schönes Haus - ruhig und lÀndlich

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt und haben die Ruhe und den schönen Garten genossen. Auch unser Hund hat sich sehr wohlgefĂŒhlt und durch das vollstĂ€ndig eingezĂ€unte GrundstĂŒck konnte er sich frei bewegen. Das Haus ist zwar etwas abgelegen, aber dafĂŒr zentral im Elsass gelegen, so dass wir von dort aus gut das gesamte Elsass erkunden konnten. Wir haben uns sehr gut erholt.

Die Ambiance und Ausstattung des Hauses sind wirklich super. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt. Leider war der LĂ€rm in der ersten Woche von der Baustelle hinter dem Haus nervig. Das hat natĂŒrlich nichts mit dem Haus an sich zu tun. Die Lage ist sonst gut, nicht top, da keine LĂ€den und Restaurants im Ort vorhanden sind. Also immer Autofahren.

Tolles Ferienhaus im Elsass

Das Ferienhaus liegt idyllisch am Ortsrand und ist hervorragend ausgestattet und wunderschön eingerichtet mit Liebe zum Detail. Wir haben noch nie ein derart sauberes und gepflegtes Haus gemietet. Auch der riesige, komplett eingezĂ€unte Garten war fĂŒr uns und unseren Hund ein Traum! Vielen Dank fĂŒr einen sehr erholsamen Aufenthalt, wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Traumhaus mit Traumgarten

Das Haus ist ein Traum. Alles ist sehr liebevoll gemacht. Auf dem Tisch standen Blumen und 1 Flasche Wein zur BegrĂŒĂŸung. Bei schönstem Wetter haben wir den großen Garten genossen. Es gab immer eine Sitzgruppe oder Liege wahlweise in der Sonne oder im Schatten. Unser Hund konnte sich draußen frei im komplett umzĂ€unten GrundstĂŒck bewegen. Der einzige Schwachpunkt ist die Lage. Im Ort gibt es kein Restaurant oder Supermarkt.

Schönes Haus mit tollem Garten

Ein sehr schönes, gerĂ€umiges und gepflegtes Haus mit tollem großen Garten. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Lage fĂŒr uns als Familie bestens. Alles was wir besuchen wollten war unter 1 Stunde zu erreichen, Colmar, Straßburg, Haut-Koenigsbourg, Wyhl Erlebnispfad, Kaiserstuhl, Europa Park und das Rulantica. Ein Punkt Abzug weil ein Kind starke Allergiken hatte und leider in dem Haus Tiere erlaubt sind, aber damit hĂ€tte man rechnen können. Ich kann das Haus gut und gerne weiter empfehlen.

Estupendo. La casa estå muy bien cuidada, pråcticamente nueva. Muy limpia, amplia y con todo lo que puedas necesitar, salvo microondas. La zona es tranquila ideal para desconectar y descansar de nuestras rutinas. Estå a 15 minutos de Selestat lo que hace que en 40 minutos aproximadamente estés en Estrasburgo, Colmar o muchos de los pueblos de Alsacia. Angelika ha sido muy atenta y ha estado pendiente de todo lo que hemos necesitado. La comunicación con ella ha sido muy råpida y ha solucionado råpidamente cualquier duda o necesidad que hemos tenido. En un sitio al que seguramente volveremos.
