Historic Downtown Hudson Home

An original 1833 home in the heart of Hudson Historic District. Recent award-winning restoration preserving original features and character, while adding updated amenities. Stroll down to nearby shops and a selection of great independent restaurants, or enjoy cooking in the farmhouse-style dine-in kitchen. Cuyahoga Valley National Park is close by with 100+ miles of trails for hiking, biking and trail running. Kayak the beautiful Cuyahoga River. Short drive to enjoy the world renowned Cleveland Orchestra at their summer home at Blossom Music Center. Easy access to all the sporting events and rich culture of North East Ohio.
Our Greek Revival home is spacious and full of natural light. A ton of character from the exposed post and beam structure and original woodwork dating back to the early New England settlers. At night it's very cozy with comfy leather furniture in front of a blazing log fire. The kitchen is fully equipped to prepare gourmet meals from local farm produce and the Heinens grocery store in walking distance.
We're an English couple fully immersed in the cultural, culinary and outdoor delights of our region. We're totally ready to provide you all the help you need in planning a spectacular stay at our home.

Our stay was fantastic. There were beautiful gardens, Everything we needed in the home. I would definitely stay here again!! Being so close to the square made it perfect for dinners with family members that live in the area. Thank you to the owners for providing us a fantastic time.

Amazing property in a quaint area of Ohio. Easy walk to beautiful village square with cute shops and restaurants. House has a great history and the redo saved much of original house but with updated amenities. Highly recommend

The home was absolutely perfect. Adorable inside and out, amazing location - we walked into town and stopped at little shops and ate great food. Only a short drive from amazing Cuyahoga National Park. We will definitely be back!

Hudson family stay

Super convenient location to all of downtown Hudson. Pretty much just walked everywhere. House had everything we needed and the host was super responsive. Only minor downside is all the traffic going by but from inside the house it was still pretty quiet.

Wayside House: Historic Treasure

The owners of this house clearly this wonderful, historic property steps from First & Main. Before we arrived, the owner sent a welcome text offering us early check in. The house is immaculately maintained. The owners even leave a helpful manual for anything you need to know about their home. A bonus feature is the small but mighty bluetooth sound system. We had a fantastic stay at the Wayside House and hope to be back soon.

Charming setting for a mini-reunion

Stuart's house is charming, comfortable and very convenient to the restaurants and shops of downtown Hudson. The living area is open and suited for gathering and hanging out in front of the fireplace telling stories. Stuart is very responsive and helpful.

New Year in Hudson

The location is perfect. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to and explored all the local shops and restaurants. The grocery store is a 4 minute walk from the home and everything was very convenient. The home is lovingly restored and very comfortable. What a great way to bring in the new year!

I love Hudson Ohio

The home is in a fantastic location. It's beautiful and we had a great stay. I recommend a few more fans in each bedroom. I also recommend a more comfortable 1st floor bed and add light weight blankets. I would stay here again. Thanks for sharing your home.

Charming historic home

We loved the charm of this beautiful historic home. It had all the modern amenities we needed to make our stay comfortable. I loved all of the information about the home and the town that the host provided for us. The house is walking distance to great restaurants, Heinen"s grocery, and plenty of shops and services. Cuyahoga Valley National park is well worth the visit, even in the rain. If the weather would've cooperated we could've enjoyed the lovely patio and back yard. The sunroom was a nice alternative though! Stuart was a great host and the care taker was just as kind! Our families would recommend this this home! restaurants
