Very beautiful, cosy, comfortable single-family house "Chalet Eden", 1'600 m a.s.l., 3 storeys, built in 2013, surrounded by trees and meadows. Above Blatten (Lötschen), in a quiet, sunny position on a slope, 4 km from the skiing area. Private: natural state property with lawn for sunbathing. Patio, barbecue. In the house: storage room for bicycles, storage room for skis, central heating system, washing machine, tumble dryer. Narrow motor access to the grounds. 20 m steep footpath to the house. Public parking 500 m extra. Grocery, supermarket 18 km, restaurant 800 m, 10 minute walk to the centre, bus stop "Blatten (Lötschen), Dorf" 800 m, railway station "Goppenstein" 9 km, thermal baths "Brigerbad" 35 m. Walking paths from the house 10 m, cable car 4 km, ski lift 4 km, slopes 4 km, ski bus stop 500 m, ski school 4 km, sled run 1 km, cross country ski track 500 m. Nearby attractions: Stockalperschloss Brig, World Nature Forum Naters, Unterirdischer See St. Leonard. Well-known ski regions can easily be reached: Lauchernalp, Leukerbad. Exit to the balcony. On the lower ground floor: (steep stair). Exit to the garden. Sep. WC. Upper floor: 1 double bedroom with 1 french bed (140 cm, length 200 cm). 1 double bedroom with panoramic window with 1 french bed (160 cm, length 200 cm). Shower/WC. 2nd upper floor: 1 double bedroom with 1 french bed (160 cm, length 200 cm), bath/WC. Shower/WC. Top floor: 1 room with 1 x 2 bunk beds (90 cm, length 200 cm), 1 french bed (140 cm, length 200 cm). 1 room with 1 x 3 bunk beds (90 cm, length 200 cm), 1 french bed (140 cm, length 200 cm). Bath/WC. Tolles Chalet

Wir verbrachten im Mai vier wunderschöne Tage im Chalet Eden. Das Chalet verfügt über sehr schöne und saubere Zimmer und ist perfekt ausgestattet. Zudem sind die Vermieter sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Von der Reservierung bis zum Auschecken ist alles reibungslos verlaufen. Aus diesem Grund können wir das Chalet Eden nur weiterempfehlen.

Wunderschönes Chalet inmitten einer wunderschönen Bergkulisse

Das Chalet „Eden“ liegt etwas höher gelegen ca. 10 Gehminuten vom Ortskern Blatten im Lötschtal in der Schweiz. Die Lage ist wirklich wunderschön und man hat einen wunderbaren Blick in das schöne Bergpanorama. Es ist dort wirklich sehr ruhig und man kann sehr gut abschalten und die Natur genießen. Wir haben zu neunt den Jahreswechsel 2019/2020 hier verbracht und haben uns alle sehr wohl gefühlt. Wie im Beschreibungstext schon erwähnt besitzt das Chalet 5 Schlafzimmer, die alle ausreichend Platz geboten haben. Der große Wohn- und Essbereich hat uns auch sehr gefallen: dieser bietet einen tollen Balkon, auf dem sich ab ca. 13 Uhr wunderbar die Sonne genießen lässt. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Das Chalet hat insgesamt drei Bäder (eines befindet sich direkt angeschlossen an ein Schlafzimmer) und ist auf 3 Stockwerke aufgeteilt. Es gibt auch einen Keller, in dem man Getränke oder Skiequipment verstauen kann. Die Umgebung bietet den Gästen einige Wanderwege und das Skigebiet Lauchernalp/Lötschental ist im Nachabrort Wiler, welcher ca. 5 km entfernt liegt: Dort kann man Skifahren oder Rodeln (auf der mittleren Gondelstation gibt es auch einen Skiverleih). Das Chalet ist insgesamt in einem sehr gepflegten Zustand und es wurde viel Wert auf eine hochwertige und stimmige Einrichtung gelegt. Der Holzofen war bei uns oft in Gebrauch und macht das Ambiente im Wohnzimmer perfekt. Die stimmige Einrichtung und das Flair sind noch schöner, als auf den Bildern zu sehen ist. Da wir uns überwiegend selbst versorgt haben, kamen wir leider nicht dazu, die Restaurants in Blatten und Umgebung zu testen, aber die Möglichkeit besteht in jedem Fall. Der Ort Blatten hat ein kleines Geschäft, welches ein paar Lebensmittel und Getränke verkauft, dort haben wir Kleinigkeiten besorgt. Der nächste, größere Supermarkt ist knapp 30 km entfernt. Zur Info: Es gibt leider keinen eigenen Parkplatz vor dem Chalet, zum Ein- und Ausladen des Gepäcks kann man sein Auto in eine Parkbucht stellen. Das Auto sollte danach unten im Ort auf einem öffentlichen, kostenpflichtigen Parkplatz abgestellt werden (Kosten ca. 25SCF pro Woche). Außerdem ist der nette Kontakt mit Brigitte zu erwähnen, der zu jeder Zeit sehr nett und reibungslos war. Sie verwaltet das Chalet und hat uns jederzeit weitergeholfen, wenn wir Fragen hatten. Fazit: Wir würden das Chalet jederzeit wieder buchen und werden diesen tollen Urlaub immer in schöner Erinnerung behalten.
