Pleasant Retreat

This home was quiet and restful, charmingly decorated. Well equipped kitchen, comfy couch in front of nice TV. Downstairs powder room much appreciated. Well appointed bathrooms upstairs. Comfy beds, fluffy towels. We were home in the evenings, grabbed breakfast and away. Thanks for the water bottles in the fridge.

We are a Christian military family, originally from California. We have three kids by birth and two by marriage and are grandparents to two. Hosting allows us to serve the community in a loving way. We strive to provide the comforts and beauty of home. Hoping to make visits to Fort Hood & the Texas Hill Country comfortable, memorable, and enjoyable. Our theme is to “Thrive” wherever the army takes us so we hope to help others do the same.

Why they chose this property

It’s quiet, close to everything, but still has beautiful views and the comforts of a newer build. The sunset over the hills from the upstairs bedrooms is really peaceful. The neighborhood is only 15-20 minutes from Fort Hood.

What makes this property unique

It’s a fully functioning home with lots of extras: linens, toilet paper, kitchen supplies, dishes, pans, spices etc, but also it is beautifully decorated with plush beds, art pieces, chairs, & dressers. Laundry upstairs, 2.5 baths, walk-in closet, patio, grill, fire pit, & fenced yard. Also, backup battery for Wifi so you will always be connected.
