Words and pictures don't do this place justice. This beautiful cabin, with pine interior and gorgeous views, has its own lawn and private patio. You will have access to our hot spring and swimming reservoir (the hot spring requires 4-wheel-drive in inclement weather.) The ranch is a great place for hiking, star gazing, relaxing at the water's edge or enjoying the country life. The perfect place to stay and unwind, or regroup for your next adventure.

Very pleased with the cabin! Very clean and such a beautiful location. Would definitely recommend to others and would stay again myself. Hopefully not working next time so I can explore some.
Very clean, well-kept cabin with all the equipment you would need in the kitchen. Wonderful porch to enjoy early morning birdsong, watch bats fly, hear coyotes yipping, all while watching the sun rise on the far hills while sipping your morning coffee. Comfortable, air-conditioned stay in the high heat of summer. Whole-heartedly recommend!

Always enjoy the ranch. Meyers family is very accommodating and nice. Beautiful views of the surrounding farm land and mountains. Peaceful.
Absolutely delightful. I echo all of the 5 star reviews. I’d love to go back during spring when all of the fields are green.
Christine and her family were incredibly gracious, welcoming and all around great people.
We stayed in a cosy but well equipped cabin with a superbly comfortable bed. The surroundings and views include a lush pasture, green conifers and craggy mountains. There's a stream with swimming and boating nearby. The family and all those who work on the ranch are friendly and helpful. I can't wait to return.
A beautiful piece of property! A short walk or drive to the water, Kayaks to use, and a covered patio to bbq! So much wildlife to see. A doe with her two baby fawns walked right in front of the cabin. The Meyers are very nice and friendly!
The cabin was very clean, cozy, with a lot of attention to detail. The kitchen was very well equipped with utensils, pots/pans and essentials such as sugar, coffee, spices, oil, and baking supplies. Ample number of towels provided. Great ranch setting. Kayaking available at a short distance from the cabin. Excellent communication with the host. Highly recommend this cabin!
What an amazing weekend! Your property was perfect for the “new year” reset we needed. Breathtaking views and beautiful property. Thanks again for one of the best weekends I have ever had.

Very comfortable it has all the amenities you could want or need. views from the porch are amazing.
I have stayed on the Meyers ranch several times and will definitely be back. The Meyers family make you feel like you are a part of the family. You are welcome to join in or have a quiet time to yourself. What ever you choose this is definitely the place to be. It has become my home away from my home. Enjoy!!
What a beautiful place to stay. The host Christine & Chris were so welcoming & kind. The cabin was very comfortable with everything you need. This was a perfect getaway for my husband and I , but I know our kids would love it as well. The sunrise & sunsets were beautiful. Sitting on the porch at night we enjoyed the stars.
Christine took time out of her busy day to give us a tour of the ranch. We saw the cows & pigs and we enjoyed hanging out with their two dogs. I can’t say enough how much we enjoyed our stay.
Thank you again.
Sincerely
Brian & Lynn

Gorgeous property, cozy and relaxing
We had a wonderful time at the Meyers Ranch! Christine is such a friendly, caring and experienced host. We had everything we needed, including a super friendly cat and team of cuddly dogs to hang with. Such a sweet group.
The house was comfy, private and really well laid out. The internet was available but spotty so this property is definitely best for those who want to take a break from technology (the main cell coverage in the area is AT&T). Christine was so patient and quickly cycled the router if the internet did go down and we needed it. I wish we could have stayed longer and enjoyed more of the gorgeous sunsets.
This cute cabin was the BEST STAY WE HAVE EVER HAD ON VRBO! Christine and her husband were delightful and very happy to have us stay on their 1,000 acre ranch! I didn't expect the kayaks to be available on their beautiful reservoir! It was fun for my son to learn how to fish at the reservoir, as well! My kids enjoyed the goats, ducks, horses and chickens that were near the cabin! The hot spring was perfect temperature and very relaxing! Words can't describe how grateful we are to have stayed at this hidden gem, in the wildfire devastated town of Greenville. It felt more like a privledge to be able to stay and enjoy everything the ranch has to offer! Our family can't thank you enough for the providing us a convenient and spectacular stay at your cabin, for my travel out of town for my job! We will definetly return in the future! Thanks for listing your lcabin on VRBO!
Booked Meyer’s Ranch Cabin to visit Lassen. Sadly, Lassen was closed due to wild fires. Luckily we were thrilled with cabin, ranch and surrounding areas to hike and enjoy mountain beauty. Would love to return!
This was a charming place to stay with lovely warm hosts who provided lots of great activities on the property like splashing in the river and going to the hot springs. The rooms were very clean and well kept. The host also know the area well and were very helpful in pointing us in the right direction and offering suggestions in the local area.
The Meyers family made us feel right at home on their ranch. The house was clean and had all the things we needed for a comfortable stay. Playing in their creek was a favorite for our entire family with something for everyone to do. Our kids are asking when we will go back again :). Thanks again for all the goodness you shared with us Meyers!
I stayed in the cabin with my tween for a mother/daughter spring break getaway. The cabin is situated on the ranch in the Indian Valley with amazing vistas. The cabin was clean and comfortable. Amazing views from windows, and we had free access to walk where ever we wanted on the ranch. Christine the owner was super communicative and friendly, and we felt very much at home. Cabin was well stocked and we cooked dinner every evening. Suggest it needs an extra spoon spatula and some more glassware, but otherwise nothing lacking. The cabin sleeps 4 and is perfect for a couple, or a family with young children. Although we went out everyday to mountain bike wonderful trails at Lake Almanor, Round Valley and Bizz Johnson, and snowshoe at Lassen NP, we also cycled around the ranch and met calves just born, the chickens, and could collect eggs for our breakfast. All in all, perfect for a pandemic spring break getaway.
My boyfriend and I loved staying is the adorable cabin of theirs. It’s beautifully decorated and feels nice and homey. We went in the middle of COVID so we didn’t have too many interactions with the owners but they were always kind and open to our questions. Their property was beautiful and the town is super cute 10/10 would stay again!
It's quiet, remote and peaceful. It is kept clean. The owners are very nice. It has wifi, fireplace, washer/dryer, microwave, refrigerators and oven. I love staying here.
It was comfortable to settle in to this hospitable cabin with quaint amenities, a view of the mountains, and rustic working ranch surroundings. The kitchenette , bedroom, bathroom, livingroom, were quaint and stocked with what I needed for a home base in my Indian Valley stay.

Very cozy and peaceful!
We really enjoyed our stay and the owners were extremely accommodating! We loved exploring the ranch and visiting with the horses and dogs. The cabin was very cozy and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed sleeping in a bit. We especially enjoyed our time off electronics - no cable and very limited internet. This gave us more time to play board games and enjoy the gorgeous night sky and stars! The location was close to several fishing places and other activities to expand our experiences. A good location to easily explore a variety of activities.

About the host
Hosted by Christine Meyers
Welcome to the ranch! Hello, my name is Christine Meyers and with my husband, Chris and our family Will & Whitney, Walker & Mary Ann, and Weston & Emily we run our family hay and cattle ranch and a residential construction company. We are happy to share our love of the outdoors, relaxing hot water and the rural farm life with you.
Why they chose this property
A true get away, 5 minutes from the small town of Greenville. Your own private home with only the main farmhouse nearby. Covered porch overlooking green lawn with your own patio and view of mountains. Leave your front yard and you are on the ranch. Christian built this cabin himself in 1999.
