Experience the wonderful small-town charm of Lodi at American Oak Cottage! This cozy duplex is only a short walk to downtown, and offers all the comforts you could wish for. The main bedroom offers a King size bed and the secondary bedroom offers a Full size bed. With ample kitchen appliances and cookware provided to whip up your favorite dishes - this cottage has everything you need for an unforgettable vacation. Enjoy outdoor grilling on the patio or relax indoors while streaming your favorites on the TVs – no matter how long you decide to stay, we’ve got it covered here at American Oak Cottage!

We are happy to welcome your four-legged family members! The backyard is small - about the size of a large dog run, but the neighborhood is very walkable and there is a dog park only a couple blocks away. Please review the Pet Policies under the House Rules section. Please note that there is a $100 fee for each pet. All pets must be disclosed at time of booking and no more than 2 pets are allowed per reservation.

If you have a small baby, we can provide a pack and play and stroller, some toys, etc. Please let us know if this is something you will need.

You will access the property with a smart lock on the front door. Your code will be provided approximately 24 hours before check-in.

The home is cooled by a wall A/C in the living room and window A/Cs in each bedroom. The home is heated by a furnace heating system in the living room and space heaters are provided for each bedroom.

Adorable cottage, great location

This is our second time staying and was a clean and comfortable as we remembered. It’s a fantastic location; steps to the cute shops and in a historic neighborhood. We come down to Lodi to visit family and enjoy having a peaceful place to unwind.

Terrific Time.....great little house close to downtown

We had a marvelous time in Lodi. The house was perfect and very comfortable. Nice that it was so close to downtown for shopping and restaurants and we could walk the short 2 blocks to a massage appointment! Reading reviews, we were a bit concerned about potential train noise, but this was not a issue at all! We will stay here again the next time we are in Lodi!

Sweet, cozy cottage that included everything we needed for our 4-day stay. Close to downtown, movie theater, restaurants. Will book and stay again when we come to visit family again.

Cute little cottage

We stayed with our son and 1 dog and it was great. It was clean and easily accessible. Close to downtown Lodi and loads of wineries. It was perfect for the 3 of us and our dog.

Family get together

Good location, clean, simple to checkin and check out. Neighborhood a bit noisy with trucks idling in the AM and train whistles throughout the evening. Would have liked an outdoor space although since it rained the whole weekend, didn’t matter in the end. For wine country, would have expected appropriate stemware. Overall a nice place.

Quaint and comfortable

I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone traveling in a small group! Easy to find, quiet neighborhood that is walkable. Definitely visit Guantininos around the corner for woodfired pizza! The cottage itself is well appointed and comfortable. I only used the main bedroom, but just know that the second bedroom is very small, only about the size of a walk in closet with a double bed. I did enjoy sitting on the front patio with my wine in the evening, though, and would stay again. Communication with the host was excellent.

Very nice property

Great location for visiting Lodi, walking distance to movie, restaurants (breakfast lunch and dinner), three blocks from main downtown area. Easy driving to dozens of wineries. Quiet and everything you need to spend quality time away from home. On my Favorites for sure.
