Welcome to our guest house in Woods Cove! A cozy retreat to relax, recharge, and enjoy breathtaking ocean and canyon views. This space is attached to our main home but thoughtfully designed to feel private and peaceful, tucked away at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in Laguna Beach's scenic hills.
Inside, you’ll find two comfortable bedrooms, a stylish bathroom, high-end finishes, a smart TV, and a SONOS sound system. Outdoor security cameras are in place for added peace of mind. Step outside to a tranquil dining area and wide open grounds with expansive coastal views.
We’re just minutes from some of Laguna Beach’s best spots, sunny beaches, scenic parks, local shops, restaurants, and the lively downtown scene. It’s a hidden gem we’re happy to share, and we hope you feel right at home.

Amazing stay

We absolutely enjoyed Casa Maria! Beautiful, new, clean and modern home with ocean views, nice landscaping and lots of amenities. Well stocked and the welcome baskets were so appreciated! The EV charging was an added bonus. The hosts were attentive and very friendly. We had no issues and highly recommend this property.

Amazing Place!

Perched on a hill in a Tony neighborhood overlooking Laguna Beach, this place is amazing. The first thing we saw was a wall of windows overlooking the ocean. The property is new and tastefully furnished in a minimalist modern style. The owners, Ruth and J.C., are wonderful! We could not have asked for a nicer place to stay. We will be back!

Amazing Hillside Sunset Stay

Absolutely loved our stay here! This guest house is perfectly perched on a hillside with incredible views of the ocean and city and the most amazing sunsets every evening. The neighborhood is beautiful, just a short drive into downtown Laguna, many beach coves all along the shore and tons of dining options close by. The house is immaculate, high-end finishes and designed beautifully. Hosts JC and Ruth were wonderful. They made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Would highly recommend and will definitely visit again!

Home Away From Home

We wanted to get away from the Texas heat, so we rented Casa Maria for the entire month of July. It was truly an amazing property. This is the guesthouse of the main home. The hosts, Ruth and JC were absolutely the best hosts you could ever want. They responded instantly with any requests. The home is very new and modern with high end appliances. The home was well appointed with items needed for daily living. The outdoor patio provided a great place for morning coffee and evening cocktails with a spectacular view. The pictures do not do the views justice. Ruth and JC were extremely helpful in guiding us to their favorite restaurants and area highlights. We are already considering booking for next year. You will not be disappointed in your choice.

What ever I say about this property and service is not enough, before I check in I had several requests, owner of this property very easy to communicate with, she makes me feel home and very comfortable, this brand new guest house is absolutely high end and everything you imagine like kitchens appliances, bedding… there for you , if you are planning for Laguna beach , this place is the on of the best place ever . Owner and her husband they are very welcoming and super friendly , they took me many times for long hike , beach and showed me around to get to know my area , I can’t ask for more better service , lucky family or any one that going to stay there , I miss them already. Amazing home in Laguna Beach

I had a wonderful time staying here. The property is great, new, clean and just a few minutes by car away from the beach. The sunset views every night were stunning. Unlike most houses in Laguna, this one has AC which is very helpful on hot summer days. Overall it was a great experience and the hosts were great. I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone that is thinking about it.

Home Away from Home

This a brand new house situated in a picturesque setting. All the amenities are top of the line. The place has an HVAC system (AC and Heat) that's definitely a plus and not a given in Laguna Beach. The pictures are very accurate. The outdoor space is very nice as well. We enjoyed our stay here from the moment we checked in until we checked out. Ruth and JC are wonderful hosts. We will recommend this place to friends and family who would like to visit Laguna Beach in the future.
