Luxuriously furnished Valais chalet for 4-6 persons. Ideal for nature lovers and families. Location 100 meters above car-free Saas-Fee with a beautiful panoramic position. 2 double bedrooms with king size boxspring beds and separate 2 wet cells. Additionally there is an open mezzanine with 2 beds. To feel good the apartment offers a bio sauna and a Swedish stove for relaxed hours.
Ideal starting point for hikes: Zuckmeier-Weg, Steinwildpfad, Melchboden picnic, Alpenblick Rundweg, u. v.a ..

From Saas-Fee exciting day trips can be made to the region: Zermatt and Matterhorn / Gornergrat, UNESCO heritage Aletsch Glacier, tradition on the Moosalp, shopping and culture in nearby cities Brig / Visp, Italian market Domodossola, u. V. M.

In winter, 50 meters behind the house starts a ski trail that leads in 5 minutes to the valley stations of the mountain railways and beginner ski area Staffelwald. Return is possible to about 500 meters to the house.

Luxurious chalet in peaceful surroundings

We had a fantastic stay at Châlet Birkhahn. The whole place is decked out beautifully with every mod con you could wish for- the kitchen is full of gadgets- from a quooker tap to sharp knives, fondue and raclette set. There is plenty of space to lounge and dine, very comfortable beds and the bonus of a big bath and sauna with a glass roof. The setting is very quiet above the village of Saas-Fee….but be warned it is a long hard walk uphill from skiing and all the amenities of the village.

Thank you Judith for the excellent feedback we appreciate very much😘. We are happy, when our customers are happy! Regarding the distance to downtown: the 15 minutes walk is excellent to get accustomed to the high altitude 😉. And don’t forget in high season till February you have the ski-trail in 2 minutes walk to ski directly to Staffelwald and the different cable cars 🚠(3 min.) In later season it depends of the snow situation.

Toll, dass Dir unsere Küche gefallen hat. Unsere Gäste und wir lieben es in einer modernen Küche in den Ferien kulinarische Ausflüge zu unternehmen. Also ein Paradies für alle, die auch in den Ferien mal gut kochen wollen:) Nicht zu vergessen das einmalige Châlet-Ambiente und private Sauna zum Wohlfühlen.
