Ideal house and location for serious, concentrated projects.
I had long neglected computer projects following my migration to Apple that needed my full attention. Working at my retirement village was not a good idea. Too many activities, people to meet with and other distractions.Eileen’s Cozy Country Farm House proved to be the best location I could have ever found. It allowed me to spread out on the dining room table, work at my own pace, work late into the night and take breaks as needed.I brought the Bose and CD’s and listened to classical music at volumes not acceptable in my apartment building. A special treat allowable only because of the semi-rural location. The sheep next door did not seem to mind the music. And having homemade banana bread waiting on arrival and fresh eggs from their coop delivered just made the stay that much more welcoming. An ideal 5 star 10/10 house and location for serious, concentrated projects.
Perfect location to stay in city but feel like the country!
We had a brief holiday visit to family in Keller and we didn't want a hotel. This was great. It had so much character and everything we needed for a family of 2 of us and our 2 grown sons.
The cozy farm house was perfect for our stay. We are from out of state staying in Keller taking care of family needs. Convenient to local store and restaurants. Worked out perfectly for our needs.
We came into town for a sudden loss in the family and stayed at this property to be close to family. The hosts were incredibly communicative through the process, as well as extremely generous for being flexible with our check in time so we could stop at property and change for services. The hosts baked a delicious load of banana bread and was also incredible with offering a flexibile chcknout time if wr needed it.
When you enter this property, you feel that you just came home. Meets all your needs and more. I would recommend this property to anyone, and I certainly would try and stay here again when I come back to Fort Worth area. It is extremely well maintained, and the hosts truly try and make your stay a welcome one. The antique furniture is beautiful and the atmosphere warm.
We really enjoyed our stay here. Eileen was very friendly and easy to communicate with. When we arrived, we had some delicious banana bread waiting for us! The home was clean, comfortable and perfect for us. We hope to stay here again in the future!
Even though the house was on a busy street, it was very quiet at night. The kitchen doesn't have a dishwasher but for us that wasn't an issue for us. The house was nicely furnished without a lot of knick knacks all over. The wifi seemed a little spotty. All in all it was a great place to stay and close to what we wanted to do. Much quieter than staying in a hotel. Also there was a yummy loaf of banana bread waiting for us when we got there.
Our stay was just perfect from the amazing comfortable farm house to the location. Everything about the stay was perfect! The owner Eileen was the sweetest person she was an amazing host.. The day of departure she brought home made cookies and banana bread!! Absolutely loved our time at the farm house!!
This is my second stay at the “farm house” over the last several months and I can definitely say that this is one of the most enjoyable, relaxing places that we have stayed in while visiting Dallas & Fort Worth. The house itself is very well located; 5 minutes from Keller town center; 25 minutes to downtown Fort Worth and less than an hour from central Dallas. You have all of the access that you can want in a very relaxing home away from busy roadways. And, you never have to worry about a noisy neighbor in the room next to yours. The owners are also very nice providing clear communications and instructions for the home. You will also find a lovely, small loaf of banana bread or some other tasty treat waiting for you when you open the front door. You won’t find that at a Hampton Inn! Looking forward to the next time we have a chance to stop by the Cozy Farm House.
A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of staying in a farmhouse in Keller, TX. I grew up in the area and during past visits to see family and friends, I have either stayed with someone or in a hotel in the area. This house was such a welcome change.
The house has an excellent location being very close to the center of Keller and in the middle of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. You can easily visit anything in the area as major roadways are nearby. Once you are in the house, it’s very easy to forget all of that. The several acres of grassland that surround the home provide a quiet retreat and a buffer to the expensive and expansive homes that have recently been built nearby. The home itself is a comfortable two bedroom farmhouse providing a lovely view into a time long past in this part of north Texas. The house is very comfortable for a couple, or for a family traveling with one or two children.
The well-appointed kitchen is a great place to start your day or stay-in if you want to take a break from the many restaurants nearby. The comfortable family room is attached to a porch at the front of the house and provides lots of comfortable seating as well as a large screen TV and stereo.
I wouldn’t consider this a “party-house”, but it is a very relaxing place to stay for several days, or longer. You can be in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the DFW metroplex without feeling all the pressure from it.
I will definitely stay here again
A very quiet place to stay. House was very clean. Lots of hot water, shower works great. Nice soft towels. Extra bed cover for chilly nights. Walk in closet for your clothes and luggage. Adequate cooking pans and utensils.
Host seems to pay attention to detail. There is soap, shampoo, handsoap and dishwashing liquid. She decorates for the season.
Convenient to surrounding attractions. A nice place to stay.
We stayed five dsys and it was very relaxing. Hostess was very helpful and baked us some delicious bread. It is very convenient to everything that you need. The house was very clean and well kept.
This sweet little farm house is comfortable and charming.
We enjoyed our stay here very much!
The location is convenient to all the metro area has to offer, yet the home has a small town/country feel.
All of the rooms are spacious and well appointed, and the beds were super comfy.
Would definitely recommend!
This was such a lovely place to stay. Very comfortable and had everything we needed. We were here to visit family in Keller and this location was close to everything. Would stay here every time we come back!
We’re locals to DFW but we needed a “home” base for a wedding weekend so this was like a staycation for us. The house is comfy and quiet and just the right size for 2 adults and 2 children. Close to the main roads and easy access to near by restaurants.
The "Cozy Little Farm House" was exactly what we wanted and hoped for. It is in a quiet neighborhood and at the same time just minutes from most of the things we were there for. Eileen is a great host and our stay couldn't have been better. We will be back!
I had a lovely stay here. Great safe quiet neighborhood. Reached out to owner Eileen a few times and she was very kind and prompt at responding. Highly recommended!
Home away from home is how I felt here. Beautiful property w all the amenities of home. Great stainless cookware as I cook a lot and so I appreciate healthy cookware. Blender to have smoothies. The shower is modern and wonderful and the bed was very comfortable.
Location is as great as it is very quiet w everything near by. Eileen was a wonderful host and helpful in any way needed.I will be back! Thank you!
This house was in a great area. Very quiet and close to anything you could want. Dining in the area is superb and being so close to DFW means no long drives between our activities while there on vacation. I would recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay in the DFW area. Our stay was literally perfect from start to finish.
The property is a quaint farmhouse that is decorated beautifully. A step back in time but with the Conveniences of modern Wi-Fi, Smart TV etc. Only a short distance to shops and Restaurants. I will definitely stay again
