Best place on French Creek!

This is an amazing place. We had no idea that it consisted of two different buildings-the main house and the game room which also has a full bath. It was the perfect place to entertain.

Wonderful property!!

We stayed at this lovely property on French Creek this past weekend. We’ve never been to the thousand islands so we were very excited when we found this property. It met all of our needs and was a very relaxing place for us to stay. The combination of rustic vibe and the sweet charm of the cabin won me over immediately. The hosts have done an amazing job thinking of the details that make your stay very enjoyable. The game room was an added bonus for the family. The paddle boat was my personal favorite. Coffee on the deck over looking French Creek and the geese was the perfect way to start the day. Just a 5 min quick trip to Clayton or the grocery store as well as 15 min to Alexandria Bay. Such a convenient location. We will be staying here again for sure!

Fabulous French Creek!

This property was fantastic, and I highly recommend it. Very spacious, lots of amenities, great location and overall cozy atmosphere.

Simply superb!

I have stayed at many VRBO properties through the years but have never given a 5-star review across the board. I do now. The property was immaculate, very well appointed, and in an excellent location. Great view of French Creek from the deck. And communication with the property manager was great. Superb.

Perfect for wildlife lovers, the property borders French Creek Marsh and Wildlife Management area which is a 2,300-acre parcel of protected land. Small game and songbirds are found here in the open meadows and hardwood uplands. Oak and hickory trees provide nut mast for wildlife to eat. Waterfowl and furbearers also find suitable homes in the cattail marsh which borders the open water of French Creek.

What makes this property unique

This rustic cottage is set back from Route 12 on a serene section of French Creek. Walking distance to the village of Clayton, the home is less that half a mile from James St. and centrally located to all of the attractions of The 1000 Islands. From the dock, you have direct access to the St. Lawrence River via French Bay as well as direct access to the French Creek Wildlife Preserve.
