We stayed 4 nights and it was fabulous! Great location and the house is fantastic. Everything was flawless. Host was awesome! Would definitely stay again.
We had 2 separate couples and myself traveling solo. So having 3 separate private bathrooms was very nice. The outside spaces were private and very zen. The home was very comfortable.
Our first time to Sedona and we couldn’t have picked a better place to stay! The location was convenient and beautiful right in the middle of the red rock formations. We definitely would like to come back.
The location was perfect for accessing the trails, star gazing, & watching sunsets. We just had to walkto the end of the street through the cemetery. Great neighbors also. We also saw coyotes, javelin and many birds. The house was very clean, spacious and comfortable for 6 adults.Communication with the Jenny was great. We had a few things that needed to be taken care of and she got back to us right away and had things taken care of right away. The only thing I would suggest is to have some mixing bowls and maybe a casserole dish or two. Minor things. We loved the Secret Garden and would definitely stay again.
We had a very nice time. The house was great and had plenty amenities. The location was perfect in the middle of Sedona. Very good mattresses. Beautiful yard and property. Would recommend.
Thanks for sharing this beautiful home in the middle of the red rocks. We loved hiking and soaking in the beauty of Sedona. We also loved relaxing and playing games on the covered porch. This spacious home was perfect for our group of 8!
Great serene and spacious place, close to everything
This is a great place offering privacy, space and serene environment and is also closer to all the beautiful landscape sedona has to offer.
Check-in process was smooth and we were greeted by deers in the yard within hour of our entering property.
Place itself is very spacious with 3 full sleeping rooms, even with 4 kids and 4 adults it was ample space for us.Great for kids too as its very private and no disturbances to neighbors.
Overall will definitely recommend staying here and would love to stay again next time we visit.
The Secret Home is both beautiful inside and out. Three couples enjoyed staying six nights in beautiful and magical Sedona.
The photos of the house do not display just how large and comfortable the inside of the house is. The outside of the property also deserve mention here as it provides beauty and comfort.
This will be the spot that we hope to return to and will recommend to others. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
We attended a mountain bike festival with some of our employees. The house was large enough to comfortably fit the seven people that came. Because we all came at different times and from different locations, and carrying bikes and displays for the show we needed to make sure we had adequate parking and storage space. This house did not disappoint! we could comfortably ft our vehicles off the street and the spacious garage was perfect for storing our bikes overnight. The proximity to the Broken Arrow trailhead was a major plus for us as we could ride from the house and away from the crowds of the festival. The dining room overlooks a lovely backyard and has a soothing secluded feeling. Check in was a breeze and communication with the property owner/manager was fantastic. We will certainly use this property in the future for trips to Sedona.
I highly recommend never coming to this area over a holiday or based on locals- ever in the spring. Took us 45-50 to travel three miles. Trail heads never had spots. But I’m not here to warn you of the massive overcrowding aka ruining of Sedona.
Pros: very clean, no smell, comfy beds, location, roomy, views, near a great local hike trail, garage, lights labeled, WiFi, easy temp control, osmosis filtered water
Cons: no wash cloths, no body soap, no comfy lounge chair or hammock to watch stars, flat pillows, very slippery shower floors, not a lot in kitchen dept- prepare to buy “everything” if you are wanting to do light cooking, only leftovers from other guests.
It’s a well located and house built for privacy (rooms are all in separate regions which is nice). It’s the cleanest and most well built house we’ve been in. Everything works. It’s a great house for people who travel there within the region but not for those from east coast or far away bc you will need EVERYTHING… hair dryer, band aids, sugar, salt, Tupperware, coolers, camping chairs etc. There’s also no fire place working nor firewood like photo shows. None of this bothered us but I felt facts needs to be established for reviewers. It’s a WONDERFUL home that serves as a fantastic home base for busy hikers and visitors off on adventures!! We were so busy it was just nice and clean to sleep , eat, and head back out the door. If you’re here to hang indoors , move on. There wasn’t even a deck of cards. 5/5
This house had everything we needed for the perfect stay in Sedona! It is right off the highway but so quiet and serene. The bedrooms were very spacious and we could have comfortably accommodated more in our group (we only had 5). All of the spaces in the house were clean and well decorated. The kitchen is HUGE and a great opportunity to cook rather than eating out for every meal. The host was communicative and the price was very fair. We would definitely stay here again!
We really liked this house. The location is perfect and it was big and spacious, giving us lots of room even though there were 6 of us. It was way better than what it looked like in the photos!
We had one issue - the light switches refused to work - not turning lighting on OR off. The only way to resolve this was to manually turn on/off the plug in the garage... I hope it was a one time thing and won't impact other guests. The host was very communicative, but couldn't resolve this issue.
One other thing I'd recommend others to take into account is that the kitchen doesn't contain any condiments - oils, spices, sauces. So if you're planning to cook there, keep in mind you'd need to bring it with you.
All in all, we had a great stay :)
The house and location where amazing! Was great being so close to trails and hiking from the house. Close enough to town while still getting some solitude with the location. Would recommend booking this house for your next stay in Sedona!!
We had 7 in our group staying in Sedona. 4 adults and 3 teenagers. Home is beautifully decorated with 2 bedrooms on the main level, both with en suite bathrooms. The downstairs was perfect for the 3 teenage girls to have their own space and own bathroom. Property is beautiful and close to main attractions but still super quiet. Only suggestions would be to add a gas grill and stock the kitchen with cooking basics such as oil and spices.
