About this property

Less than 2 miles to University of Michigan Central Campus, football stadium and downtown. A quiet and safe neighborhood, plenty of street parking, close to restaurants and shopping. Bike/walk/drive/bus very easily.

The house/room are quite simple, we try our best but it's not too fancy. Private bathroom. Room has a large fan but no A/C. The 2nd "bed" is a futon (69''L x 33''W).

We are flexible to accommodate our guests, please let us know if you have any questions or special circumstances. We have hosted many guests on AirBnB for a few years and are now trying VRBO too.

Medium size bedroom with its own bathroom. Full size bed. Fan, space heater, extra blankets if needed. Basic amenities provided (towels, shampoo etc.). Strong wi-fi.

Guests are welcome to use the kitchen, living room, dining room and patio as desired. Please feel at home.

We usually have some snacks available (fruits, milk, coffee, bread & cheese etc.) for guests arriving/departing late/early. Just let us know and we can show you what is available.

Other things to note:

We recently painted the house light Green but have not updated our photos yet.

We have 2 rooms available so there may be other guests in the house.

We cook regularly so sometimes the house has (usually) delicious smells. Also, on Wed./Sat. mornings we are awake early to work at the local farmers market. We try to keep quiet but there may be some noise between 5-6:30am as we prepare to leave.

Convenient but not ideal

The location is ideal and communication was great. However, the situation was not as comfortable as anticipated. The bedroom door did not latch completely, the bathroom was small with minimal counter making it hard to get ready, the room was directly across from the homeowners room, there was no showing of the house making the use of other home spaces very odd and the home had a strong aroma (not from cooking). Despite the great location to the game and kind owners, it was not a comfortable situation especially for the high price.
