Outstanding home, exactly as shown. It was perfect for our stay in Carlsbad. Check in was very easy. Walking distance to beach which was perfect. Would absolutely stay there again.

The house and yard were in great condition, very clean and as described in the description. The walkability to the beach was great for us as was spending evenings in the hot tub. The property was perfect and we’d be delighted to stay again.

The home was perfect for our needs. The backyard is an oasis and the house itself is perfect for families with any age children. Beach is in walking distance. Lots of stores and activities were close by and Alexander was a great host!

Fantastic!!! The house was in perfect shape. All the dishes and cookware anyone would possibly need. The hot tub was in excellent condition. I would recommend this house to anyone and everyone. We will definitely be staying at this property again. The host was fantastic to work with.

Alex's place is fantastic. One end of the house has a lovely master suite (for grandparents, in our case) while the other end of the house has a two-bedroom suite (for children and grandchildren). Large, enclosed backyard for kids or pets. Fully-stocked kitchen. And Alex even took the time to ship something we accidentally left behind. So, all-in-all -- a great house and a great host. Highly recommend!

Great beach-adjacent spot for a group

Had a group of friends together, and we all enjoyed this beautiful spot! The three bedrooms were wonderfully furnished and cozy, and the bonus bedroom/office worked just fine. We had a great time enjoying the hot tub and gazebo as well. A great place!

We stayed at this location as 2 families each with a 1 year old. Everything about our stay was wonderful. I didn't see it mentioned on the listing, but they also had a high chair, pack n play, toys, baby books, play mats, soft play climbing blocks, and a play tunnel. Our babies loved these items! The host was extremely communicative throughout our stay and it made me confident if we needed anything at all they were just a message away. The location was great - walking distance to beach views and access (tide pools if you catch the tide right), a short drive into town and shopping. I wish we had more vacation days to stay longer and enjoy the amenities. The place was immaculately clean (and I promise babies will find any spare trash to eat), comfy beds, well equipped kitchen. We would definitely return if we come back to Carlsbad!

Very clean, comfortable,and welcoming home. The kitchen is well equipped, which was important to us since we do spend a lot of time in there.Spa/hot tub was a welcome addition in the evening and the backyard is very accommodating and beautiful. We felt it was a good value for the two nights we were there and would recommend highly to any future Guests

Great for families.

The 5 and 8 year olds were in hog heaven. Gymnastics pillows, hot tub. It was Grandma, Grandpa, Mom, Dad and two girls. The house is laid out perfectly for that. I cannot think of a better stay!

Charming and Comfortable

This is the best VRBO we have stayed in. I brought my three adult autistic children to Legoland and this house was so close and convenient! Also it is so cute and charming! The bathrooms are spa like and the bedrooms are perfect! The kitchen had everything we needed for the limited amount of cooking we did. I cannot recommend this place enough. It was so peaceful and clean and comfortable. We hope to come back every year!!

It worked out well -

The rental worked out well for us. The house felt modern, clean, bed was comfortable, stocked with what we needed. We have family in the area so the location worked well for us. It was an easy walk to a beach and a short drive to restaurants. We were a bit bummed that the fire pit could not be used but the master shower was wonderful and will be missed.

Very clean and spacious! Generous supply of linens, towels, beach towels. We enjoyed the hot tub and outdoor spaces. Took a 5 minute walk each morning to explore the tidepools @ Terramar Beach. Would stay again!

The house was very nice and well appointed. The yard was beautiful, and we truly enjoyed sitting in the yard, enjoying the gorgeous flowers on the ground and in the trees, and the frogs and the ducks in the pond. Close proximity to everything we wanted. Our host communicated very well and promptly and was very accommodating. Thank you so much for the stay!
