The host is very welcoming they communicated quickly. The fireplace makes it cozy and warm inside. It had everything we needed for our stay. We look forward to coming back!
The privacy was amazing! The home felt cozy and my son really enjoyed being able to get in the hot tub in the evenings. The beds were very comfortable - they were very low to the ground though. We didn't have any trouble with it, but I can see where it may be challenging to get out of the beds if you have any mobility troubles. The location was perfect for us as well as it was about equidistant from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.
The cabin was a great fit for our family! Since we spent most of our time at amusement parks and other tourist spots, it was the perfect place to come back to, relax, and enjoy the hot tub at the end of the day. Andrew was a great host and quick to respond to any questions or needs. The kitchen was well stocked and plenty of towels available. Wifi was definitely useful since cell reception is spotty in the TN mountains. The road(s) leading to the cabin is a bit narrow and steep, but it’s paved and manageable if you take it slowly. We'd love to come back and stay again!
The cabin was wonderful and stocked with lots of cooking essentials. the hot tub was our favorite part, and the privacy is unbeatable! the driveway is steep and hard to find. maps just takes you to right outside the long driveway up to the cabin, but otherwise a great stay.
This us a wonderful and cozy cabin gives you a great Smokey Mountains location and just minutes away from family fun of Pigeon Forge. we found the property to be exactly as shown and found it super inviting and restful. The host is very communicative and responds very quickly - very wonderful to work with. Overall this was a wonderful stay and were already dreaming of our next visit!
We loved our stay at Laurel Gem. It was exactly as listed. If you are looking for privacy this is your cabin.

It could of been a little cleaner...The HotTub needed attention, the cover had mold and the ledges were dirty. The Furnace filter that was visible in the hall way had a build up of dirt and dust.

We had a great time at the cabin. The privacy was exactly what we needed. We spent much time outside listening to nature, and the hot tub was great after long days of walking!
