great house, well worth the price, central to all the areas. just be aware, it is a bit of a climb on the driveway but so worth it, and the bonus is all of the elk at the bottom of the drive. only one suggestion i would have, and this is personal, is maybe a bigger television so the family members with "older eyes" wouldn't have to strain as much. would definitely rent again, thank you to the property owner for use your tree house!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Little Mountain Hideaway. It's in a private setting, yet very handy to restaurants in Maggie Valley, and to the Blue Ridge Parkway and GSM NP. The property was clean, spacious, and comfortable. We will definitely try to book this place again, perhaps in the fall next time.
This mountain home was the perfect place for my family of 5. We were comfortable with the sleeping arrangements and we enjoyed the close proximity to Maggie Valley, Waynesville and the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. The setting of this house was quite idyllic as it sat perched on a hillside offering views of beautiful teees, grazing elk and hilly terrain.
My husband and I had a wonderful week stay! The house is beautiful and in a wonderful location. Close to everything yet quiet and peaceful. The elk sighting on our last morning was a wonderful memory to take with us!
Our second time at this property and we love it. Perfect for family gathering. Plenty of space and great accmodations. We recommend it higly, and will definitely choose it again if we have the opportunity to visit the area again.
Wonderful property. Perfect for our family gathering. Slight issue at check-in but was promply recified by the host. Tracy was gracious and professional with our interactions. As a bonus we got to visit with a small family of elk durin our stay. Would definitely stay here again!!

The house was very well equipped clean and in a perfect location. I could not have asked for anything better. I will definitely return and tell friends about it.
A very gracious host, sharing this “treehouse” with us tucked away in the mountains. Way beyond expectations! So clean, comfortable, and accommodating! We just might come every fall to enjoy the spectacular colors God provides!
