We have an spectacular weekend!

House is beautiful and so comfy! We definitely come back! We really enjoy the jacuzzi and the pool table! I highly recommend this place.

We couldn't do anything without the manager or host whoever it was watching every move we made. It made it very weird knowing that we were being watched all the time. We were there for work and was gone from like 5 am until after 7pm. All we wanted to do was shower, eat and relax a little before going to bed.

Greedy Owner

The owner advertised sleeps 11 for a certain price/night. We initially booked for 8 people. He doubled the advertised price for additional adults. Our original occupancy was for 6 adults and 2 infants. 8 days prior to the arrival date we had to change the total occupancy to 2 adults and zero infants. 8 days prior to check-in I asked for a refund the owner said no. I asked for a discount to the advertised price. The owner said no. This listing falsely/fraudulently advertised the price. The advertised price was for 11 people - there never should have been an "upcharge" in the original contract - when in fact we booked for 8 people - 3 under the advertised "sleeps 11". Very bad policy and I will never recommend VRBO if that is the standard policy.

Outstanding Place!

The property is just 3 mins away from Oakhurst which makes it accessible to restaurants, gas-stations etc. South entrance of Yosemite (Mariposa Grove) is around 30 mins from the house. Carl and Mitchell were amazing hosts, the communication was very clear and easy, and the house had everything ready for our visit. Plenty of sunshine in the morning with amazing views.The hot tub is in an AMAZING location and could easily fit 4-5 people. Game room was awesome to hangout and there is a bluetooth speaker inside the game room. Would definitely recommend for small groups.

Awesome stay

The location was great. Less than a mile from the main street w/restaurants, and 20 min from Yosemite. The owners were very helpful and responsive with checkin. The home was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Highly recommend

July 4th Getaway

My Friends and I had a wonderful time at the Black Bear Haven! The property was pretty spacious, and the backyard had a wonderful view. Carl was very responsive with all the questions I had prior to the trip. A few things to note, although I selected “house” as property type in VRBO, this unit is actually connected to another unit, so it’s more of a “townhome” in my opinion. Also, I was not aware of a parking fee for having more than 2 vehicles on-site. That information was put in the “general” section instead of “rates & availability”, and it wasn’t in the contract either.
