Arrived to find the street parking was actually 3 spaces, half a block away that were already occupied by other cars. We had to park on the sidewalk temporarily until a spot opened up to move to. 39 steps up to a third floor apartment, (not mentioned in the listing). The apartment was clean but dated. After our host's representative left, we discovered that there were no bath towels to be found. We contacted the host and he told us where to look for back-up towels. There were none in the storage closet that he directed us to either. We went to a store and bought towels, no big deal. My wife was the first to take a shower and half-way through, the hot water disappeared! At this point, we had had enough! We were one night in to a 9 night stay and we were not willing to se what would go wrong next. We contacted the host and his response was "The water heater was actually replaced not too long ago, so this issue is very unexpected. Nevertheless, I fully understand your decision to leave under the circumstances."We stayed 1 night of a booked and paid for 9 nights, and after we moved on and completed our trip, I requested at least a partial refund. I received 1 reply message from the host, contradicting the response from Vrbo. Basically they are both telling me that the other is responsible for determining refund status. Very disappointed, but lesson learned.
