About this property

Tamarack Trails Bungalow

Summary:
At Tamarack Trails Bungalow, you don’t have to sacrifice comfort while enjoying the Wild West. Whether you're hiking the trails, snowmobiling through the mountains, relaxing at Lake Cascade, or touring the local Hot Springs, this is the perfect spot to wind down after your day’s adventure. You can enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery as you grill from the deck or walk to the local restaurants. You will rest easy in this brand-new bungalow with new furniture and comfortable beds.

The Space:
This is an apartment above a garage. You enter on the ground floor and walk upstairs where the apartment is located. The kitchen/dining/living is all in one large area and there are 2 bedrooms and 1 full bathroom. The kitchen has several small appliances and cookware, and is prepared to serve a group of 5.

Guest Access:
All home amenities, including the garage, washer and dryer, and grill, are available to guests.

The main home is also an additional rental property available.

The Neighborhood:
This is a quiet neighborhood and yards are small, so we ask that you please limit noise while respecting quiet hours from 10pm and 8am.

Ridleys, the best grocery store is about 11 miles away in McCall.

Donnelly is a small town with a population of 249. There are a few small restaurants with limited hours; we recommend Cougar Dave's for lunch and Ragazza Di Bufalo for dinner. Make sure to check online for hours.

We stayed here for a family reunion at the lake cascade 4 H camp which was about 7 minutes away. Great communication with the host regarding getting there and getting into the property. It's very conveniently located right in town and easy to find. The apartment was super clean with enough supplies and beds for our family of 5. We didn't eat any meals there, we were at the camp for most of the day time but it was a perfect place to go back to and get a shower and good night's sleep. Appreciated the ample air conditioning during the very hot days we were there. The only down side was all the birds that made their nests in the eves and pooping on the deck and our car (we parked in the garage after the first night) but there isn't anything that can really be done about the birds! All in all it was a great stay!

Relaxing Quiet Getaway!
We loved how easy it was to check in and out of this little get away! The house was extremely clean, plenty of room inside for us, and they had all the essentials ready for us to use! When we arrived, they had the A/C on, which was so nice since it was hot outside! They allowed us to park inside the garage which was a nice surprise! It was awesome to be able to park and close the garage while you are unpacking your items! Plus it was nice to have some shade on our car with it being so hot outside! There was even a Small balcony with a BBQ grill on it, which we used every day! We loved that it was separate from the house in the front, we were able to have our own privacy! We even forgot about the house in front because we never heard them! This is in a quiet location where you can walk down Main Street or even drive in to the nearby town for lake day! While we were there they had a Huckleberry festival and that included a parade down Main Street! It was so much fun! We will definitely be coming back to this place again! If you need a getaway, this is beautiful place to go in the mountains!
