Welcome to Your Fort Lauderdale Escape

This colorful, Key West-inspired cottage is the perfect home base for families and groups seeking sunshine, relaxation, and adventure. With 3 spacious bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a tropical backyard featuring a private heated pool, gazebo, and BBQ, the home comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests.

Located just minutes from Fort Lauderdale Beach, Las Olas Boulevard, Wilton Manors, and the airport, you’ll enjoy the best of South Florida while having your own private retreat to return to each day.

Traveling with young children? We can provide a removable safety pool fence upon request—please let us know before check-in.

House Rules & Policies

We want your stay to be stress-free and enjoyable. Please note:

Garbage Disposal – NO FOOD (other than baby food and liquids, milk excluded). Cold water must be run before, during, and after use. If violated and we have to call for plumbing emergency visit the primary renter will be responsible for the bill.

Toilets – Toilet paper only.

Pool Use –

Heating available Dec 1 – April 30 at $25/night, set to 87°F (does not feel nearly as warm as a hot tub temperature water).
Please be aware water temperature may be affected by outside conditions (cold temperatures, rain, etc.).

Pool pump/heater run daylight hours only; cannot be adjusted mid-stay.

Leaves/insects may enter water; a skimmer net is provided. Occasional droppings ( mostly from Iguanas can be found around the pool area ). Please be advise that unfortunately the wild life is out of our control and we are not able to offer additional cleaning services or any other concesions for the backyard/pool during your stay.


Pool is professionally serviced every Friday; no extra cleanings available.

Do not tamper with heater or equipment.

Safety – Please keep windows closed and do not prop doors open (this will set off the security system).

Backyard Policy – Plastic cups and plates only outdoors; no glass permitted.

Noise – Quiet hours 10PM–7AM (Broward County).

Guests – Only registered guests allowed. No parties/events.

Pets – Not permitted. Unauthorized pets incur $250 fee.

Security – Outdoor motion detection cameras at entry points (front door, side of house).

Age Requirement – Primary renter must be 21+ with valid ID.

AC Use – Please keep thermostat at or above 70°F to prevent damage.

Trash – Use correct bins (blue = recycling, black = trash/yard waste). Please roll out on collection days Monday and Thursday morning.

The house was wonderful, plenty of space for 6 adults,. We had everything we needed for our stay. The pool was a little cold when we arrived but when I spoke to the host, she had the heater turned on for a fee. I would definitely stay again if back to Ft. Lauderdale for vacay.

Very fun stay for spring break

We had a wonderful time at Romi’s place, and we would definitely go back. The property had everything we needed for a week in Florida. We loved the pool and the grill. It was only 15 minutes to the beach. And the neighborhood was very quiet and safe.

House is centrally located and very well equipped (both kitchen and even for kids, had all the stuff you need for the beach and more!). Host was very communicative and answered most queries within minutes. And when we had a minor issue it was efficiently resolved within 24 hours. Always great to book with someone that cares about their own property and not just some company that manages tons of them. Recommend!

Wonderful Thanksgiving Getaway

Myself, my husband, and kids ages 16 & 11 stayed here for 5 days the week of Thanksgiving. Everything was as pictured and described - clean, comfortable, fully stocked kitchen, beautiful backyard, etc. The house is conveniently located not far from anything (grocery stores, restaurants, the beach, etc.). My 16 year old especially liked the back bedroom because it’s like a little attached studio apartment. Romina was extremely quick to reply to any messages, and everything went very smoothly.

Perfect Home for Us

Casa Colorida was a wonderful stop for my family to enjoy South Florida. The rooms were great sized and the yard was perfect! The house is centrally located to Las Olas and it was an easy drive to everywhere we had to go. It was just lovely to end the day with a dip in the pool and sit out in the cabana. The owner was in regular contact and very responsive should we need anything. They even left us a lovely little welcome basket upon our arrival. 5 STARS!

Perfectly Paradise

We stayed at Casa Colorida during the Tortuga Music Festival. This house is adorable and exactly as captured in the pictures. The host is incredibly friendly, helpful, responsive and accommodating. I left a box of jewelry behind and the host was honest and sweet to mail it back to me. She made sure everything was intact. We had everything we needed and felt right at home. It is also in a good location with quick access to the beach, restaurants and shopping. We'll definitely be back!

Incredible home

Home was clean and comfortable. Enough plates and forks to have friends over for dinner. Communication with host was just enough. Romina was very helpful when we had questions. Pool was clean and the floaties were a huge hit with the guests. Outdoor sitting area was peaceful and aimed directly for guests to be able to relax. Grill was a nice addition. Highly recommend this home and host. Will book again when we come to Fort Lauderdale. All guests left happy.

My family had an amazing stay at Casa Colorida! Romina was an amazing host starting from our reservation to departure and everything in between! Every detail has been thought out and provided. Romina was a great host and even left us a welcome basket and fresh mangos from the backyard! The house is very spacious and very inviting and fun! My kids lived in the pool and even had an adventure with an iguana in the backyard! The host is very personable and was able to give us recommendations on food and even nearby beaches and where to park! She also checked in to see if we needed anything. We want to go back and would DEFINITELY stay here again!

Casa Colorida is amazing

Writing good reviews is never easy when you would really rather keep a place secret :) but, it’s only fair to give a massive thank you to Romi for offering us her wonderful home while we were in Fort Lauderdale. Before we arrived, we had grand plans to go out into Fort Lauderdale and find things for the kids to do. Turns out we hardly left the house at all since it was so much fun and so relaxing! I would go back in a heartbeat and I know my family would too, in fact we have already talked about it. Wonderful (heated) pool, space to run around, grill, gazebo and a welcoming house. What’s not to love?!
