About this property

Cabin on the Ridge

Relax with the whole family, just minutes from the Mulberry River and the Ozark National Forest. Bring your side by side, motorcycle, canoe, hiking boots, fishing poles, or hunting gear and stay in comfort in this cozy cabin.

The cabin sits on top of a hill, on a half acre yard surrounded by woods and fields. Horses swish their tails and cows munch the grass while the birds sing in the treetops. The cabin has 3 bedrooms (2 queen beds and 2 twin beds) and two bathrooms. There’s a large living room, kitchen, and laundry available. There’s a private 7x20 back porch off the master bedroom and a large 8x48 front porch that has plenty of sitting space.

The cabin sits about 20 yards off of a paved road, there is some traffic so be cautious with dogs and small children. The nearest house is ours at about 150 yards across the field.

The address here is 18035 Middle Ridge Road Ozark, AR 72949 Please study that compared to what you are planning to do. Please note that this house is not near a sxs trail head. It is 20 minutes by truck/trailer up the highway. Please do your homework before you book.

The road in front of the cabin is paved so don’t worry about getting here if you drive a small car, it’s perfectly drivable. There’s room to pull a trailer into the yard with your sxs, atv’s, or canoes. There’s an electrical service box on the driveway side of the cabin with 50/30/20 amp outlets including a Nema 14-50 plug. So if you have a camper or EV there are plug in options there.

10th birthday trip.
Twins' 10th birthday trip. Our experience was nothing short of magical! Exploring the hiking trails and discovering various waterfalls added an adventurous touch to our getaway. The warm and inviting atmosphere of the house instantly made us feel at home. We particularly cherished spending time on the deck, surrounded by the serene views of cows, horses, and donkeys - such delightful neighbors! Being able to bring along our furry friend was a huge bonus for us, and we appreciate your pet-friendly accommodation. Everything about our stay was perfect - from the cozy residence to the seamless arrangements. We had a blast playing games and enjoying the speaker, creating unforgettable memories together.

Eclipse getaway!
We wanted somewhere away from all the eclipse (2024) commotion, and the house was perfect! Scott was great about providing info about the area, and everything needed as far as household items was more than adequate.

Cabin on the ridge
The home was very clean and had everything to make your stay relaxing. Yard could have been mowed other than that we would be back. When we arrived it appeared to have termites we saw in the living room and kitchen. We did however found some spray that seemed to work. Thanks again Scott we did leave after our run on Sat.

Why they chose this property

This cabin is surrounded by our family farm. Horses, Cattle, Deer, and other wildlife will be hanging around frequently. The road is paved, the internet is fiber-optic, the pace is slow, and the Mulberry River is just a few minutes away. It is a great place for kayaking and canoeing as well as fishing and swimming.

What makes this property unique

Parking is free and spacious. There's a 50 amp service to plug in your EV or camper if necessary. The road is paved and easy to drive. The Ozark National Forest and Mulberry River is one mile away so bring your atv, sxs, canoe, or kayak if you like and explore the woods and the water. Walmart and Harps are just 15 minutes away in Ozark. So buy some groceries and cook out on the large charcoal grill at the cabin. If that’s not your thing, several unique and amazing restaurants are close, as well as your favorite fast food places.
