Slopeside is under new ownership and is brimming with recent updates including a new wide driveway with plenty of parking. Slope Side is ready to host your family’s next Deep Creek Lake vacation with the Wisp Resort right at your backdoor and lake activities within minutes. The ideal location makes it the perfect choice any time of year.

The roomy main level offers incredible ski slope views, and the beautifully decorated great room has comfortable seating and a 65-inch TV. You can warm up by the cozy gas fireplace after a day on the mountain. An open concept floor plan allows everyone to have space but still spend quality time together.

The kitchen is fully stocked whether you want to make a big brunch or a delicious dinner. Share meals at the dining table and swap stories about the day’s adventures. There is also a pub table and bar that gives you extra seating and a place to sip your favorite beverage. The main level living area also offers easy access to the deck and hot tub, making afternoon barbecues on the grill a breeze.

Upstairs, you can check out ski slope views from the primary suite’s private balcony. This space is furnished with a king bed and a TV and has a private bath with a new dual sink vanity and lovely tile shower. There are also two bedrooms on this level. One is furnished with a king bed and the other has a duobunk and a twin. Both have new TVs and share a newly renovated full bath.

Hang out with friends in the lower-level family theater room where you can watch your favorite shows and movies on the new 85-inch TV, break out the board games, or play foosball.

Excellent rental

Very convenient property. The hot tub was immaculate. The spaces were great. I do wish the 3rd bedroom would have had a queen instead of a bunk. Love the master bath with a rainfall shower. Having a magnifying makeup mirror that lit up was great also. Very comfy beds and bedding. Lots of parking. Great ski locker and deer every night off the deck.

Wonderful home! Wonderful View!

Slope Side was super clean! We walked in and the home smelled clean and all surfaces looked sanitized. We sometimes have high expectations about cleaning and I was so happy to see that our expectations were met! Slope Side was fabulous! The home was well equipped with all the cookware we needed and everything was in good shape. The master bedroom had an amazing skylight and the master bath was clearly updated with some cool features! the view of Wisp Mountain was beautiful this time of year. I can only dream of that it will look like in the winter with the skiers coming in! Taylor-Made took great care of us! I would highly recommend this home and our host!

Wonderful end of Summer Family Stay

This property offered my family everything you could desire and some…I was impressed with the fully stocked kitchen and the location was perfect. Everything else we needed was within reach. I can’t wait to plan our next stay

Cleaning for the cleaners?

Overall, my family enjoyed the stay. My biggest gripe was with the 'check-out' instructions, which were primarily centered around cleaning the property... I was charged an additional cleaning fee, in addition to the rental fee; therefore, im perplexed as to why i am tasked with chores such as: stripping linens from the bed, straightening the house, emptying all trash cans and then hauling trash to the outside bear-proof container... My question is: what does the cleaning fee cover??? It may be more beneficial to rent a hotel room or alternative lodging with less stringent requirements in the future... Other minor, yet notable, nuisances: -The 3 bathroom house came with one roll of toilet paper (outfitted on the main floor). -The neighbors, who are residents, allowed their dog to poop in the backyard. Not sure where the property line delineates, but i was grilling dinner for my family one evening and a woman (a resident/visitor to the right, who drives a minivan/SUV) began walking her dog as if she intended to use the paved path - stopped abruptly. By the time i walked over to investigate, the dog was covering his skat! The lady casually an unapologetically walked back into the front of door of the house. Not sure if the act was intentionally offensive or just plain questionable practice... - My husband also noticed that the hedges and grass were unkept, compared to the surrounding houses. There were broken hedges and pine cones littering the property.
