Great stay in Elk Rapids

This was our first time staying at this house. Lindy was a great host. She answered questions I had prior to our stay and was very accommodating and responsive. The house was stocked with amenities including needed supplies (soap, towels, toilet paper, paper towel) and also had a good supply of cookware, bowls, pans etc needed if you want to cook meals during your stay, which we did. The beds were comfortable and the house itself was the perfect size for our family of four. The location was great. We could walk to town or drive and we did a little bit of both. We would stay here again and highly recommend it.

Great spot in Elk Rapids

We had another great stay at this cottage! This is the third year that my husband, two children, and I have stayed at this same house. It's a great spot for us to be close to Elk Lake for boating and close to town. The cottage is always clean, and the property manager is very responsive with all communication. We will be back again next summer!

Great spot

House exactly as pictured and described. Perfect location, close to beaches in town and also quick drive to Traverse City and Torch Lake. We stayed with our 4 kids and it worked out great!

Perfect summer getaway

Lindy’s home was the perfect place for our family to spend a week up north in the summertime. The location is awesome with easy walking/driving access to elk rapids, and a short trip to traverse city, bellaire, and charlevoix. Lindy was responsive and super helpful. Nothing but good things to say!

Hi there, I'm an artist and Mom to three young adults who have recently left the nest. I grew up in the small town of Elk Rapids, Michigan and have made this area my home again. I like to travel and interested in painting wherever I go, sometimes on the back of a sailboat. I like to get out and do athletic things as well as take in cultural events and institutions. Interested in arts, history and people.

Why they chose this property

I just purchased this property with existing furnishings and decor from previous owner to keep booking arrangements consistent. I will be changing out a few of the art and decor items throughout the year to incorporate some of my own art, art from my collection and reproductions of my work that are available for ordering or purchase.
