Sitting on the Rock is a two bedroom, two bath cottage in the Bryson Village community. This property's deck is perched on the properties native large rocks, hence it's name. This lovely home sits creek side, with a nice deck and hot tub, and is beautifully decorated.

Bryson Village is a premier vacation rental community located in Bryson City and right outside of the heart of downtown Bryson City. With the Historic Bryson House as it's centrally located property and an additional fifteen vacation rentals, the community all together can accommodate up to 78 guests. Each rental is lovingly equipped with every modern touch you need - flatscreen tv with Direct TV service in every living room and bedroom, gas log fireplace in the living areas, fully stocked kitchens with granite counter tops and stainless appliances, indoor and outdoor dining spaces in every home, full laundry in every home, nice decks on each property with gas grill and hot tubs, high speed wireless internet access, comfortable furnishings, and tasteful decor. The Village is a perfect spot for your Smoky Mountain Getaway; whether you are doing a large gathering with a wedding, business retreat, family reunion, group vacation, large group gathering, or a small affordable family getaway in an individual cottage. Bryson Village's location cannot be beat. Located right outside of downtown Bryson City, but within the city limits, Bryson City's amenities are right there to enjoy. There are several local restaurants to try, along with craft breweries and boutique/local shops. You of course can also take a ride on the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad, which is famous for the Polar Express ride and the Great Pumpkin Patch Express. If you're interested in more outdoor entertainment, you can take a ride over to the Deep Creek entrance of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and enjoy the hiking trails, waterfalls, fishing, tubing, bike riding, or picnic areas. If you're looking to learn more about the area's deep roots and cultural history, take a 15-minute ride over to the Cherokee Reservation and check out the Museum of the Cherokee Indian, Unto These Hills drama, campfire tales in the summertime, the Oconaluftee Village, and the Pioneer Village. If you're looking for nightlife, you can also check out Harrah's Cherokee Casino. For adrenaline pumping outdoor adventure, make sure to check out the Nantahala Gorge area which is known for it's whitewater rafting, kayaking, zip line canopy tours, horseback riding, and hiking.
