Wonderful spring break ski trip! Cozy beautiful cabin!

This property far exceeded our expectations! Such a calm peaceful cabin with gorgeous views from porch. We loved the separate level living areas, plush decorated bedrooms and fully stocked kitchen. This property owner thought of everything from toiletries to laundry soap we felt right at home. We will definitely be back to stay at this property on a future spring break Breckenridge ski trip!

Peaceful Mountain Retreat

We loved our stay at Lazy Bear Lodge! It was a great location and easy to get to from Denver up 285. The location was very easy to find, not far from the highway but still very secluded and private. The accommodations were perfect for our group. The bunk room was a great place for tween boys to set up their hang out. The firepit was great and we loved having coffee in the morning and a glass of wine under the stars at night. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed to cook meals. We drove into Fairplay for a meal and for some provisions at the local market (quick 6 minute drive). We also drove into Breckenridge for a stick and puck at the local skating rink which was only 25 minutes away. We went to Tomahawk for some fishing and the boys loved biking down to the river to fish also. The beds and bedding were so comfortable. We also heard some Elk Bugling in the middle of the night - so cool! We will definitely be back! Thanks so much.

Beautiful and relaxing!

This mountain home was a great place to stay to explore the area or to stay put and relax. We had some rain so the attached garage was a real bonus. The open kitchen/dining/living area was beautiful and conducive for meal prep while also interacting with our friends. Furnishings throughout were beautiful and kitchen and bath were well supplied. We did several hikes in the area and loved our stop in Fairplay. Several restaurants and bars to choose from. I'm sure this area with all the Aspens, will be beautiful in the fall. Check-in and check-out, as well as interaction with host was seamless. We will difinately be back!
