If you have any concerns, our customer support team is available 24/7/365. If there is any kind of mechanical issue with the home, please reach out to us first barring any kind of emergency. We will do our best to respond promptly and resolve any issues you may have.
Once a week, one of our team members will stop by the property to put out the trash cans, replenish our supplies, and/or restock sheets and towels. They will NOT enter the home. They have access to the garage or shed with a code. This day may or may not fall during your stay.

Please be advised that this home is located on a rural road on an elevated property. All guests must have 4-wheel drive or all-wheel drive vehicles are required to access the home, especially in the winter and during rough weather conditions. We are not responsible for vehicles getting stuck or having issues accessing the property. Thanks for your understanding!
During Summer - It is uncommon for mountain homes to have AC. The home does not have AC but has various windows that can be opened with ceiling fans in the bedrooms and living areas.
During Winter - Winter snowfall can vary during the winter months. For guests staying from late October through late April, AN AWD OR 4WD VEHICLE IS REQUIRED. Most winter storms will provide about 5" of snow at one time. Our driveway is steep and can be problematic for cars not properly equipped to handle snow. The neighborhood roads and driveway are regularly plowed as needed during the winter months.
During icy, wet, or slippery weather conditions, please use extra caution when walking on the exterior stairs, patio deck, and on walkways. We are not responsible for any injuries or accidents resulting from slips or falls on the property. However, we will do our best to keep the driveway, stairs, and home entrances cleared and safe for all of our guests.

The living area welcomes you with soaring ceilings, knotty pine paneling, and floor-to-ceiling windows that frame sweeping alpine views. A plush sectional, freestanding fireplace, and 65-inch smart TV set the tone for cozy evenings of board games or movie nights.

The fully equipped kitchen features a four-burner gas stove, full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, and espresso machine. A six-seat dining table and five-seat breakfast bar invite relaxed group meals, whether you’re sharing pancakes at sunrise or hearty dinners after a day on the trails.
Sleeping arrangements
Four bedrooms offer comfort and privacy for up to 13 guests. Two king bedrooms on the main floor share a full bathroom with a tub-shower combo. Upstairs, the loft master suite has vaulted ceilings, mountain views, a king bed plus an extra twin, a private ensuite bath, and a 60-inch smart TV. A dedicated workspace in the loft includes an extra monitor and balance ball chair for those needing to stay connected. On the lower level, the bunk room features twin-over-twin and twin-over-queen bunks with a third full bath just across the hall.
Outdoor living
Step onto the spacious deck to enjoy panoramic views and mountain air. A BBQ grill and picnic seating make it easy to dine outdoors from May to October. Though local regulations prohibit open fires, wildlife sightings and stargazing more than make up for it. In colder months, patio furniture is stored away, but the peaceful view remains.

Practical touches make every stay easy. You’ll find a washer and dryer, ceiling fan, heating, and high-speed Starlink Wi-Fi. The cabin includes essentials such as towels, linens, and bathroom supplies, plus coffee and cooking basics in the kitchen. Safety features include exterior security cameras, smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, a fire extinguisher, and a first aid kit. Pets are welcome, and there’s both a one-car garage and covered parking.
Neighborhood
Just nine minutes from the historic town of Fairplay and about forty minutes from Breckenridge, the cabin provides a convenient base for exploring the Rockies. Hike nearby Reinecker Ridge or Sheep Mountain, fish in alpine streams, or visit local hot springs. After a day outdoors, return to unwind by the fire or gaze at the stars from the deck.
