Real Colorado Mountain Cabin Experience

In one word: "Awesome!"The cabin was beautiful and well maintained. Plenty of room for 2 to 4 people. The large, fenced yard was perfect to let the dogs run around and play. The in-floor bathroom heater was fantastic for cold mornings. I loved the old fashioned iron fireplace/heater - it was very romantic to have a cozy fire at night with the lights off (perfect for a wedding anniversary getaway with my wife), and if you don't want a fire, the heating system in the cabin was excellent. Everything was thought of, and provided. If you want to enjoy the outdoors, just step off the porch and you are in a clearing that is prefect for walking. You are surrounded by trees, with drop-dead gorgeous views of snow capped mountains. My trip was too short, but I plan on coming back for a longer stay! Thanks to the owners and the Evolve team for one of the best anniversary trips my wife and I have taken!

Great location; close enough to Fairplay to head in for things like woodfire pizza, or a great cocktail at the Snitching Lady Distillery. Backyard was fantastic for our 3 dogs. A moose wandered by the front porch one morning. Lots of nearby hiking options. The kitchen is sizeable and accommodated some delicious meals.

This cabin was perfect for my family of 5 plus our dog. I was looking for a cute cozy cabin to spend a few days and that’s what I got. We spent one day in Breck ( about 25 min ) and the other day fishing and hiking around FairPlay. The backyard was perfect for our dog. The fence was great and I knew she couldn’t get out. Highly recommend ! Can’t wait to go back.
