Bad Sooden-Allendorf Bad Sooden-Allendorf is a wonderfully preserved half-timbered town and is located directly on the border with Thuringia and almost at the geographical center of Germany. Nestled in the beautiful Werratal and in the nature reserve of a charming low mountain landscape, the city offers many recreational activities and is the ideal starting point for hikes on premium hiking trails in the Geo-Nature Park "Frau-Holle-Land", by bike on the Herkules-Wartburg-Radweg or by canoe on the Werra.

Our cottage is a half-timbered house in "Little Venice", the old fisherman's houses in front of the city wall and is bounded by the Werra, the Werra bridge and the old city wall. It was lovingly restored in the 1990s and has been modernized ever since.

The ground floor is used by a café with beer garden, from which you can also be supplied on request.

The three upper floors form the residential building. In the 1. OG you will find the spacious living room with balcony, open kitchen and a guest toilet. In the 2. Upstairs is the gallery, the large bedroom (double bed 180x200) with a bathroom with bath and the small bedroom (double bed 160x200) with a shower room. In the 3. OG are then the two guest rooms (a bed 140x200, a sofa bed and two single beds 80x200).

Equipment: The living room includes a HD TV with cable and internet connection and a home cinema system. The kitchen has a large ceramic hob with 5 burners, convection oven, microwave and dishwasher. There are also coffee maker, toaster and kettle. The fridge does not have a freezer. A washing machine is also available and included in the price.

Tips from the landlord: Bad Sooden-Allendorf is a classic spa town and offers to relax the Werratal-Therme with its brine and the diverse sauna landscape and one of the few remaining graduation works in Germany. In the border museum you will get an insight into everyday life at the German-German border and in the brine museum you can discover the 1000-year history of salt production. In addition to hiking trips, the city is also an ideal destination for excursions to Kassel, Göttingen, Eisenach (Wartburg) or Erfurt.

Traumhaus am Fluss

Perfekter Ort für unser jährliches Treffen zweier befreundeter Familien mit vier jugendlichen Kindern im Herzen von Deutschland. Viel Platz, schöne Zimmer, üppig ausgestattet - aber am tollsten war der gemütliche Balkon mit Blick über den Fluss (und genug Sitzgelegenheiten für acht Personen). Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und sagen Danke!

Tolles Ferienhaus in herrlicher Lage

Wir haben einen Drei-Generationen-Urlaub im Dezember im Haus verbracht und hatten eine entspannte, erholsame Zeit. Das Haus war überall penibel sauber, sehr gut ausgestattet und der Vermieter gut erreichbar und absolut verbindlich. Die Räume sind sehr ansprechend eingerichtet und gemütlich dekoriert. In der Küche ist von allem so viel da, dass man auch mit acht Gästen nicht nach jeder Mahlzeit spülen muss, und von allen Basis-Notwendigkeiten (Seife, Waschmittel, Gewürze u.ä.) war reichlich vorhanden. Wir können das Haus nur wärmstens empfehlen und bedanken uns für den tollen Urlaub.

Geniale Location für entspannte Tage mit Freunden / Familie

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in dem sehr gut ausgestatteten und liebevoll eingerichteten Ferienhaus. In der Küche war alles da, was man braucht. Besonderes Highlight ist das Wohnzimmer mit der Galerie und die top Audio-TV Ausrüstung. Genialer großer Balkon direkt zur Werra, durch die Überdachung und Einhausung auch im Winter für eine gemütliche Glühweinrunde nutzbar. Die Schlafzimmer im 2. OG haben ein Bad mit WC, die im Dachgeschoss nicht. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und immer erreichbar. Die Übergabe und Einweisung war super entspannt. Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden und empfehlen das Freienhaus weiter.

Die Unterkunft ist in jeder Hinsicht zu empfehlen. Der Vermieter ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Beschreibung und die Bilder im Portal entsprechen absolut der Realität, die Küche ist bestens ausgestattet, das ganze Haus gemütlich, sehr sauber, alles in tip top in Ordnung. Auch die Übergabe hat ohne Probleme geklappt. Die Lage direkt am Fluß ist wunderschön. Kann die Unterkunft wirklich zu 100% empfehlen.

Super, nur zum Empfehlen

Einfach super, der Gastgeber ist sehr zuvorkommend, ist sich nicht zu schade die Gäste auch vom Bahnhof pers. abzuholen der übrigens nur 600m zu Fuß entfernt ist, (mit dem Auto ca. 5 min.) Die Unterkunft entspricht genau den Angaben im Angebot, Ausstattung der Fewo Zweckmäßig bis sehr hochfertig und Wohnlich man fühlt sich gleich wie zu Hause. In der Küche fehlt es an nichts. Und auch der Biergarten direkt unterhalb (von dem man aber nichts hört) auch sehr zu empfehlen. Wir waren sicherlich nicht das letzte mal dort.

Tolle Location und sehr netter Gastgeber

Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr geräumig und genauso wie beschrieben. Der Balkon mit Blick auf's Wasser ist traumhaft. Einziges Manko ist der Parkplatz, der einige Meter Fußweg entfernt liegt. Der Gastgeber ist super nett und hilfsbereit und hat die im Vorfeld gestellten Fragen zeitnah und kompetent beantwortet. Wir buchen gerne wieder!
