Misrepresented
Extremely disappointed in property and feel you have grossly misrepresented it in your description.
When we first arrived in the courtyard the outside area was not policed, dirty with leaves and branches making the area unusable. The furniture was rusted with holes-a safety issue.
The inside of the property did not look much like your advertised photos. Photo enhanced?
Upon opening the door, we immediately noticed a very strong Mildew smell permeating the entire apartment.
There was a physical hole in middle of kitchen floor-a clear safety issue should a person catch a heel in the hole, they could become injured.
In the living room, a day bed represented your idea of a sofa. Only one additional easy chair was in the living room. The kitchen had a high table with two bar height chairs to represent the "dining" room.
The bathroom did not smell clean or sanitized and tub looked to be uncleaned.
As a result of the strong mildew smell, one of our asthmatic members was unable to stay more than a few moments in the house before experiencing breathing issues.
As a result, for her health, we chose to abandon our stay at this location and relocate into a hotel. That gave us double the bill for our vacation. We will never recommend Tybee Island Rentals and this property.
We asked for minimum of one night return of rental fee and $125 cleaning fee. Requested by phone and denied. No answer to written e-mail.
