This cozy house had plenty of room for our group and was clean and well organized. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The location was ideal, we enjoyed being able to walk across the street to the lake and were minutes away from other lakes and fabulous hiking. During our stay we had a couple of questions, and the rental company managing this property were very nice and helped up quickly. We would definitely stay there again!

Thank you so much for the wonderful review! We're delighted to hear that you had a great stay and that the property was well-maintained. We really appreciate your kind words about the communication with our team. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we hope you'll consider us again for your future travels.
Normally, I’m not one to leave a bad review but beware if you rent this property! There is a huge tripping hazard where the floor is at a different level as you walk through the hallway. We all tripped multiple times. My husband and I are in our 70’s and I truly can’t believe this wasn’t mentioned or better yet fixed!! We had to arrange a rug over the area to try and level the area so we wouldn’t trip. Along with fixing that hazard, how about some nonslip tub mats in the showers..that also seems like a no brainer. I brought my family of 8 and the only nice thing about this house is it’s across from the Lake. We have stayed in many houses over the years and this was the most unwelcoming experience and stay we’ve ever had. I call the property management company and let me put it this way .. it didn’t go well. Her defensive attitude..only made our experience worse. I want to remind her..we are her customers!! You have much to learn. The deck was so dirty when we arrived we had to sweep furniture and deck..just to clear areas to sit. The outside garbage can was full upon our arrival and we had no room for our garbage. The storage area where extra blankets are stored, smelled so musty and the blanket was damp so we tried to wash it. The washer froze and we had to unplugged it because it smelled of electrical wires burning. Coffee grounds were left in the coffee pot from previous guests, electric tea pot had water left from previous guests. Yuck..very unwelcoming vibe!!

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're sorry to hear that this home did not meet your expectations. Guest safety is always important to us. The change in flooring height you mentioned is part of the home's design and has not previously been reported as a safety concern, but we do appreciate you bringing it to our attention and will evaluate whether additional measures or signage may be appropriate. We recognize that our communication during your stay did not leave you feeling heard. While we may not have agreed on every point, we always aim to treat our guests with professionalism and respect and appreciate the opportunity to review feedback that helps us improve. We wish you and your family all the best in your future travels.
