In 30 minutes by car you can reach the Ionian coast with its golden sandy beaches and crystal clear sea. About 37 km away is the city of Matera with its "Sassi", a UNESCO site and European Capital of Culture 2019. Those who love strong emotions can try the "Volo dell'angelo" (Flight of the Angel) of Castelmezzano: Hooked to a steel cable, you can experience the thrill of flying.
