Welcome to Arcadia the hub of Phoenix! You are just minutes away from everything: we are 7 minutes from the airport, 3 miles from hiking Camelback Mtn and Papago Mtn. Papago offers public golfing as well! The Botanical gardens and Zoo are 5 minutes away! Only 10 minutes from downtown Phoenix and Old Town Scottsdale. Just three houses away there is an amazing green space with a walking path that provides amazing views of Camelback Mountain and Papago!

Trip to Phoenix

Absolutely LOVED the cottage, so private, clean, close to everything I love to do in Phoenix, host even had snacks and water in the room upon arrival, very friendly host and just an all-around lovely stay oh and can't not forget how comfortable the bed was. I will be booking in the future whenever I return to Phoenix. Absolutely wonderful!!

Convenient and Secure

This property is perfect for a single or couple. Heather accommodates all her guests with all the important amenities. Although there is no sofa, the bed raises and can turn into a lounger on each side. You'll also love how secure the space is, tucked neatly behind the house and out of view. An adorable courtyard with plenty of seating an an outdoor grill complete the great experience you'll enjoy at this home. A pleasant walk or Uber will take you to several restaurant choices and shopping. Literally 11min from the airport and 15min to Scottsdale. I would definitely book here again!

Overall very nice but very weird at the same time. I’ll try to explain.

The owners took a lot of effort, and making this a very nice small guest “room”; it’s basically a large bedroom made into a studio apartment. Everything inside was excellent and I commend them for the work they did to make such a comfortable place. The weird part is the check in process in communication with the owner: which was absolutely nonexistent. I was parked in my car in front, asking them to come out and give me some direction and she didn’t even bother doing it, she would only email me. Secondly, the guest house is literally part of their property that’s been fenced off, but they never once made an effort to say hello, or even to ask how things were going. Which was very weird. I asked to check in early and they asked “what time” what I responded by 11 or earlier if possible. They proceeded to ask for $20 extra for an early check-in! I have traveled the world, and never once has any hotel ever charged for early check-in. This dismissive attitude put a huge damper on the experience, and I would urge them to do better.

Exactly what we were looking for

Great spot for 1-2 people to crash for a few nights. Close to the airport and to Scottsdale. Comparable to a hotel room in size but cleaner and more personal. Had everything we needed for a long weekend trip plus a few snacks and coffee that were a nice surprise

It was a great stay. Really great location and close to a lot of different things Communication wasn’t the best with Heather the power went out and we had to ask her about it and the water got shut off and we had no warnings of this happening other then that it was a very pleasant place to stay!
