This is a great spot to stay. Very neat and updated house right on the lake. Excellent views, very quiet and peaceful. Easy in easy out. We would certainly return.
Home's layout is great, open concept is very nice. Views from everywhere, very secluded and quiet. Lake was great! We rented the Pontoon and did not regret it came with a tube! Sugar hill Forest trails and Watkins Glen Gorge are close by. The firepit was perfect also.
House was clean, and nicely designed and furnished, very much as it appeared in the pictures. The kitchen was great but could have used some newer cooking pans and lids that fit. We usually bring one of our own pans for things like eggs, for instance, when we rent, and we’re glad we did. Water pressure was a little low at times but believe it’s well-based there so not surprising depending on neighbors’ use. That’s fairly common in lake houses. Bathrooms were clean and nicely done. Beds were quite comfortable. Some of the outdoor cushions had clearly been left outside in the rain (and morning dew) pretty regularly so weren’t in the best shape but we left them inside til dry and found enough that were ok for us to use. Not a lot of room to walk if you have a dog but we found the road across from the entrance road to the house was decent. We had a birder with us for a while and she was a bit surprised at the diversity. We ended up doing a lot of birdwatching. We didn’t feel comfortable swimming given some of the algae and other growth (also in the pics), but the boating was nice and it was still quite pretty and glassy smooth most of the time. There is a channel that leads to Lamoka and Waneta lakes. We commented multiple times how well sound insulated the house was, including over July 4th. AC was a bit taxed with outdoor temps in the 90s but always fine for sleeping. Comms with manager were good. Overall a nice, well maintained house on a small lake and a decent value.
This was our second time returning to Lamoka lake. First time at this house and we plan to return. The house was spacious, clean, great location, having a washer and dryer was a big bonus, there are only neighbors on one side of this house and they are wonderful. If your looking for a quiet getaway on a beautiful lake we highly suggest this beautiful home!
We had a great stay in Bradford. The house was a little smaller than it appeared in the pictures but was still more than enough space for us (two adult couples and a toddler). It would be fine for three adult couples. The house was very nice with pretty modern appliances and furnishings. The property was beautiful with a nice open back yard with great views of the Lake. We were able to get out on the water with the kayaks provided and took advantage of the fire pit in the back. The overall location was conveniently positioned between Watkins Glen and Hammondsport (~15 minutes from each) offering nearby shops and restaurants. We did a bunch of hiking and visiting wineries and even drove down to Corning one day (~25 minutes) to see the museum of glass. Overall we had a wonderful and relaxing stay. This is a great spot to enjoy what the southern portions of Keuka and Seneca lakes have to offer.
