We were very happy with our stay. We brought our dogs and they loved the big backyard. The house was clean and had everything you need. We will definitely return in our future trips.

Had a great stay here. Found the place quite charming and the area was nice and quiet. Easy shot down to the highway to Amarillo. I have no complaints at all, and would gladly stay here again.
We came to town to visit family for Thanksgiving and stayed in this charming home with our 2 kids and small pup. The house was a lovely little place where our family could recharge at the end of the day and enjoy some down time. Love the decor and the little framed explanation about Shotgun Houses. :)
The house worked great for our trip. The yard was big and the neighborhood was quiet. I was surprised how low the ceiling was, my husband is 6’5 and he had maybe an inch or two- tall people be careful 😁 very comfy bed and close to the canyon and Amarillo. Will stay again.
We were in Canyon visiting family. Cute and cozy for a couple looking to stay in oldies style small place for a few days. No Stove kinda made breakfast hard I did not like hot plate it kept overheating se we left an extra one there for you my son gave to us. Backyard was huge! Bed was comfy. Shower had lots a water pressure bathroom was tiny but cozy.
I somehow always mess things up when I book but the women who owns this place is very nice and understanding. I sleep the best here then any hotel. It’s by far my favorite little house! I’ll be back to this area in a year and I’ll book again without question. Hopefully this time I don’t mess up the booking lol
Everything was exactly as expected. We were in Canyon to help our newlyweds (sonand daughter-in-law) move into their apartment to start the new school year.
We wanted to have a place that would take our dog and allow us to give the kids time to themselves. The location was excellent. AND everything in the home actually worked! We definitely highly recommend this Casita if you are looking for a comfortable, affordable place to explore the area or just relax and hang out..
This is our second stay so obviously we are fans. Cute, clean and comfortable. Just what is needed since we spend our vacations out of doors anyway. We’ve now stayed during below freezing temperatures as well as 100° and the house, especially the sleeping areas are very comfortable. The yard is amazing for pets. Don’t plan on having groups over or cooking large feasts, the house is very small and kitchen is minimal, as the description clarifies. The owner is very responsive at all times of day.

The Canyon Casita was a safe haven for us in a jam-packed week. The yard for our little dog was the icing on the cake. We would definitely recommend it.
Great place for folks visiting Palo Duro with a dog
This place is located in a little neighborhood near to anything one might need during a stay. We used the place as a jumping off point for a few days of Palo Duro exploration. Our husky approved of the yard. I thought the place was charming.
