Put together like a badly flipped house. Floor underneath the vinyl floor was rotted out in spots. Like you could literally feel holes in the floor. Dishwasher was full of dirty dishes and stale water. There was a dirty pan just sitting in the pantry. When we tried communicating with the owner we never heard anything back all week. Location was cool though. Had a couple restraints and bars close that were fun. So I would recommend this area just not this property.
Came with some friends for a conference- was a great place to rest and recover after a long day. This place has a lot of character. The host was easy to contact and responded quickly.
We came for a funeral and knew we all needed more space than the 4 of us sharing 1 room at a hotel. We are so thankful to have picked this listing - it was perfect for us. Just what we needed. 1 room on main level with a bath for my mom with a bad knee - and the rest upstairs with another full bath. Close to everything we needed to go to. We would definitely stay here again if we find ourselves back in Indianapis!
We had a wonderful stay at this home! We came to indianapolis with our kids for the Solar Eclipse.
The check in instructions were very clear and it was easy to find and get into the home.
The home was very clean upon arrival. Everything was clean and it smelled fresh.
The house has plenty of space to hang out and play games. We cooked all of our meals in the kitchen.
The upstairs has plenty of room to spread out although I would notice due to the adorable barn doors upstairs there is a lack of privacy so if you are staying with multiple couples only the downstairs bedroom truly feels private. Not an issue for us traveling with our kids but did want to mention it.
The host checked in with us and made sure everything was going well which I appreciated.
There were plenty of pillows, blankets, and towels. The house was very well stocked with everything we needed.
The neighborhood felt safe and friendly and the surrounding house are very well kept and adorable.
We would absolutely stay here again!
Place was nice, and a short Uber from downtown. There is a gym across the street and a bar in the next block as well.
Place is nice, clean and stocked.
However the bedroom doors upstairs are all barn doors, with large gaps between the door and the wall, and the doors don't go up to the top! One of the doors has cracks in it, providing no privacy in that bedroom. Even the bathroom door is a barn door with a large gap. It was kind of bizarre. Any sound made in one bedroom is heard in all the bedrooms. It is nice that you know when the shower is available without having to open your bedroom door though, as you can track where everyone is.
There is a dove with chicks nested outside one of the windows which was really nice.
There was a lot to like about our stay at this property. I'll start with the downsides and then go to the good stuff -
It smells like cigarette smoke downstairs. Not like a guest smoked there last week, but like it's in the walls from years of someone smoking there. It's like it was in the paint. Fortunately it wasn't bad enough to trigger any of our smoke-sensitive party.
My fiance and I left a can of WD40 on the kitchen table. All of the interior doors are new and all of them squeaked and squealed loudly. Like get-up-to-go-and-wake-up-the-neighborhood loud.At least now the downstairs doors don't squeak. Keep the WD40.
Given the lighting in the neighborhood, it would be nice to have better window coverings. It was pretty bright in there.
All in all, not too big of a deal.
The good news is that it was well equipped, comfortable, and configured to accommodate a large group. It was great being so close to Lucas Oil Stadium. It's in an up and coming neighborhood and there was a number of options of walkable places to eat and see. It's close to a nice jogging trail. One of our party is extra careful when traveling but felt comfortable enough to go out for dinner on her own while the rest of us were at the stadium.
Little touches like having coffee and creamer available, or shower products that aren't the cheapest stuff at the Pigly Wiggly. Those are big wins for me.
Overall, a good stay.

Liked: Location
Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
Good location : much disappointment
Let me start with the good. The home is in a really great location. Near many activities and easy access. The rental was another issue. First we were not able to check into our space until nearly 3 hours after we were supposed to. This messed up our evening plans. The home was somewhat clean but we found trash left in a few rooms on the floor and unclean floors. There was a moldy coffee filter in the coffee maker. Finally , the smoke detector started chirping and we could not get in touch with the owner. Phoned (voicemail box full) and email messages unreturned. So we had to climb on a chair to determine that the battery was removed. There were no extras so we needed to disconnect from the ceiling so we could sleep.
We are very easy going but this was too much for a short stay and limited communication to resolve.
Disappointing
