This was a perfect retreat for my very large family. Enough cabins and beds to accommodate all and seclusion when you need a break from the crowd. Love the central lodge and outdoor kitchen to socialize, eat or share a cup of coffee. The grandkids spent every day in the pool and had plenty of games and entertainment to keep them occupied. It would have been perfect if the cabins had a/c but everyone survived with the shade from trees and window coverings. We will definitely come back.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our second time staying here as a big friend group. We love the place, its a little rough and rugged but we all have young kids and its perfect for that. One thing that really needs to be addressed is the septic. The smell is awful and really can be a buzz kill depending on which way the wind is blowing. They REALLY need to get that under control.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Huntley Lodge was the perfect spot for our group of 28 (16 kids!) to gather for a week. The kids made use of the pool and play areas every day, and the parents loved having communal spaces for such a large group. The outdoor kitchen was awesome, and fully stocked. We also appreciated that each family had their own cabin to retreat back to at night. It was the exact experience we were looking for - private and plenty of space for kids to roam, beautiful views, and still only 15 minutes to town. The property caretaker was extremely helpful and available!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was great and very clean. Having the caretaker on site was very convenient to answer questions. There was lots of room for our party of 20 to eat and sit and chat on the patio. The outside working area and bar made cooking for a large group very easy. The stoves inside working area much better than the outside stoves. We would stay here again.

Fantastic getaway for large groups!We just returned from a weekend stay with a large group of friends and family, and we had an absolute blast! This property is the perfect setup for big gatherings. Having the grand lodge as a central hub for cooking and hanging out, while everyone had their own private space in the eight beautiful studio cabins, made the trip both fun and comfortable.The amenities were a huge hit—we spent plenty of time enjoying the pool (cue sports) and hot tub, and there is outdoor kitchen and bar area. The grounds are beautiful and secluded, offering plenty of space for the kids to play and for the adults to relax and take in the views of the surrounding mountains.Everything was well-maintained and the layout worked perfectly for our group. If you are looking for a place that combines a "summer camp" vibe with great facilities and privacy, this is it. We can’t wait to come back!

Our family celebrated our Mother’s 81st birthday at this fabulous place. The pictures posted don’t give justice to the beauty and peacefulness that we encountered. We collectively decided that we will be trying to be sure we make this a family tradition to come back yearly.

Wonderful retreat location!

40 of us gathered here for a church weekend retreat and it was perfect! We were able to have different dorms for guys and girls, the outdoor kitchen was amazing to cook for big groups in and well stocked, there was plenty of parking, and the on-site staff were super helpful. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to return!

Awesome Place!

I had the BEST time at this property celebrating my 30th birthday with 25 guests! The property was PERFECT for a large group and the attendant on site was so lovely! Everything was clean, bigger than expected, and easy to navigate. We will absolutely be back!

Perfect place for a retreat

Our church group stayed here for 3 nights with 40 people for a spiritual retreat. Wonderful location, property was clean upon arriving, everything needed for cooking was provided. The cabins being separated from the main lodge was great for privacy and peaceful sleep. Drew the on-site caretaker was super responsive and helpful.

Amazing Lodge & Experience

This place is amazing! The cabins are well kept and spacious and the main lodge has so much to offer! Our group truly enjoyed the entire property and our overall experience. The caretakers that are on property are the added bonus. Wonderful people and extremely helpful. We can't wait to come back next year!

Great for large groups

Was perfect for our large group of girlfriends, we celebrated 50 years of getting together. The space was fantastic for the 36 of us ladies and the duplexes were perfect, large and comfortable. The kichen in the lodge was very well equiped with everything you need to prepare meals. We ha a great time! The pool was also wondeful.

Fabulous family getaway!

We really enjoyed our family snow trip at the Huntley Lodge! Loved the private duplexes and the lodge had everything you would need for entertaining and cooking for a large crowd. We were able to sled right on the property which was awesome. Drew, the caretaker gets the highest marks from us for being an overachiever. He worked hard the entire stay and was very helpful! We hope to stay again!

Huntley Lodge

Place is perfect for larger groups. Get your own sleeping space (own cabin depending on size of group) then all meet and socialize in the main lodge and outdoor bar/ kitchen. Drew and Dana the caretakers being onsite make the whole process and time perfect. They check in on you daily and take care of anything you need. Definitely recommend.

Impressed with two kitchens and all the dishes and utensils that are provided.The rooms are very comfortable, even the pullout beds are easy to sleep in. Also the grounds keeper is awesome. He will be there in a minute to fix any problem that arises.
