Discover this beautiful vacation home with private pool, 40 minutes from Canet-en-Roussillon and Barcarès, nestled on the outskirts of the pretty village of Marquixanes in the Pyrenees. Very modern, with large glazed walls, the large, very warm loft-style interior offers a lot of comfort and the poolside garden will bring you many relaxing days. This very sunny region is full of exciting places to explore with family or friends, such as the 5 km long Lac des Escomes, where you will find Aquagliss Park, a fun and sporty place with inflatable water games, catapult, trampoline and slides. The famous Pic du Canigou (14 km), which attracts thousands of hikers of all levels every year and where everyone can walk gently at their own pace or in the high mountains or Gorges de la Fou. Do not miss the village of Arles-sur-Tech, built in a circle around the abbey and a unique example of Gothic art of the Languedoc in Catalonia. It is a magnificent region that seems to have been created for vacations: sportsmen of all ages will be delighted by the many activities in the area: canyoning, hiking, mountain biking, electric mountain biking, horseback riding trails, paragliding, climbing, trekking... or just a walk in the forest! At the end of the day you can recharge your batteries in one of the delicious restaurants or country bistros where you can taste local specialties such as Catalan cold cuts and mushrooms, All i oli, La Cargolade, Catalan cream and fideuada. It will be rounded off with a small glass of Banyuls or Corbières. Vacances

La maison est parfaite: propre, particulièrement bien équipée, grande piscine, calme. La vue sur le petit village de Marquixanes et les montagnes rajoutent encore du charme à la maison. Le propriétaire est très réactif aux questions.

Modernité et Authenticité à Marquixanes

Nous avons passé cet été 1 semaine à Marquixanes (à prononcer "Marquichane", on l'apprend au début...) dans cette propriété avec nos 2 fils de 12 et 9 ans. Marquixanes est un petit village authentique des Pyrénées orientales, non loin de Prades (commerces et grandes surfaces à 10 minutes) et Villefranche de Conflent plus touristique avec ses fortifications Vauban. Nous avons apprécié le calme à Marquixanes rythmé par son clocher. Pour les enfants, il y a un city stade à 5 minutes à pieds de la maison pour les amateurs en herbe de foot et basket. Dans le bas du village, mention spéciale pour la base de loisir Exterieur Nature qui propose de nombreuses activité (accrobranche, rafting, rafting, canyoning, ou tout simplement baignade dans la rivière avec un petit saut de 2m depuis les rochers pour les enfants). Egalement une bonne adresse pour déjeuner, le restaurant utilise des produits locaux. La maison étonne dans ce vieux village catalan. Une superbe rénovation avec tout le confort moderne. Cuisine équipée, superbes salles d'eau, douche italienne, la literie vraiment confortable et le tout climatisé (et il faisait chaud cet été 2022...). La grande piscine complète parfaitement la maison avec un entretien simple via le robot programmé pour tourner 1h30 par jour. Vraiment digne d'un hôtel. Nous avons adoré nous retrouver à la maison après nos journées d'excursions ou d'activités en eau vive. Il y a un grand garage attenant pour rentrer la voiture (le village est étroit, et la maison située dans une impasse), il faut néanmoins pas mal manœuvrer pour faire rentrer la voiture, mais rien d'insurmontable malgré mon break familial. Pour l'arrivée et le départ, ou toute question, Nadia qui gère la pizzeria du village, nous a guidé. Gestion des clés avec une boite à clés, simple et efficace.

Gite au pied du Canigou

Idéalement placé pour découvrir les Pyrénées Orientales. Le gîte, avec sa piscine chauffée, est magnifiquement rénové.

Fantastique!

Rien à redire! Nous avons passé 2 semaines fantastiques dans cette superbe villa, avec son charme ancien et moderne. La piscine est superbe, la vue est magnifique, sur le mont Canigou et sur le village de Marquixanes. Et le soir on a le plaisir d’avoir les hirondelles qui volent au dessus de nos têtes. Emplacement parfait, supermarchés à proximité, et autres activités très proches, jusqu’à 1h de route. Nous sommes très heureux de notre séjour et convaincus que nous reviendrons! Merci à Jean-Marc pour son accueil chaleureux et ses bons conseils que nous avons suivis avec plaisir, sans déception!
